Rather than continue to post what we all do in the August Uwharrie thread, why not post up here what you do for living? Good chance for folks to get to know one another a little better..........
 
I do a few things, main/daytime job is here at the CPA firm doing taxes, financial statements and consulting.

We spun off a 2nd company that is a Quickbooks & Computer consulting company that is called TriadHelpDesk.com There are 3 other partners besides myself in that.

Finally, the "play" money comes from teaching, I teach undergrad and graduate level Accounting courses online.

I invented the post-it.
Now I just draw houses for people and sell imported cruiser parts for the fun of it.
 
Im in golf course maintenance, Its a pretty interesting and fun job with a great schedule and good benefits but Im pretty well burned out with right now and have been for quite sometime.

I'm a process support specialist (formulation chemist) at a biotech company in Clayton. My current project is to transfer the formulation and filling of a new diabetes drug to the US market.
 
In the "Family" business. Architectural Woodwork, Stairs, and Marine Interiors.
 
Quite the gammit of proffessions. It makes for one Hell of a good group.

Future...Own my own vineyard/winery, and very small cattle farm. We will see how that goes. :popcorn:
 
I am a manager/catering sales director at Noble's Grille in Winston-Salem. Student at ECU's online program to finish my degree and get out of the restaurant profession.
 
I'm the Accounting Manager for a company in Durham called SportsMEDIA Technology Corp. We engineer custom hardware and software for statistical graphics for sports television, like the mini-scoreboard in the corner of the screen, the yellow first-down line for football, the "crawl" at the top of the screen for NASCAR, etc. I just returned from L.A. where we were the official timing and scoring for the X Games.
 
I'm a field sales engineer - we represent various manufacturers with divisons in: Semiconductors, Power, RF, & Display...I spend most my days calling on Hardware engineers throughout the Carolinas.

Any hardware/design guys out there - we need to talk!
 
I'm the Assistant Corporate Controller at the management offices for Hendrick Automotive Group. I spend my days behind a desk crunching numbers, preparing financial statements, etc., etc. So if anyone out there is looking for a car, let me know.
 
I work in property management. Mainly residential. We manage around 1,500 properties in the Durham and Chapel Hill area.
 
I am an Area Construction Manager for Shea Homes in Charlotte.

I am also a Licensed COntractor and do rennovations and custom homes on the side with a Partner and our company is called JH Custom

YOTAFAN-I worked at the BMW shop for some of High School and All of college. I am friends with Chris Blocker who is Tom Blockers son. small world. Is Wayne simpson still around over there?
 
I am the Technical manger for Coastal Instruments Inc. We repair and service Mass flow Controllers. Was shop manager in our Portland Oregon location until I moved to Wilmington NC for my new position. Hope to meet some of you guys soon!

As of right now, I work part time at Jiffy Lube, and I bartend at a Banquet hall... and go to school for automotive mechanics
This hobby is expensive
 
Service Tech for Canon Copiers, and pretty much everything else in your office that has a power cord!

Executive Business Machines out of Winston Salem.
