I'm a project manager. I was a road warrior and have seen almost every state in the last 10 years...planes, trains and automobiles. I just signed up with Food Lion to do the same locally on their in house initiatives.

Software developer for 9 years. Now doing backline support which is a little more stressful that I care for, but things are shaking at my current co, so might be force to get into something low key soon, so it all works out:) Trying to find a sugar momma so I can just spend her money, fish, travel to fish, buy boats to fish, and of course more crushers and upgrades for em....

AKA: "Computer Geek" I guess

For the last 4 years I've been working for Volvo Trucks of North America at the corporate office in Greensboro. I'm a senior breakdown coordinator. Basically means that when a Volvo or Mack truck breaks down on the side, I'm the guy they call. We also handle road service for Michelin truck tires. I am mainly on the Mack side of the business now.

And yeah, I am trying to renew my addiction to Mud after selling my 40. New project truck is in the works now. :wrench:

I guess i should add an update to mine. Just got told 59,000 of us will be layed off next year. If you do not have 5 years in you are gone. I have less than 2.

Guess as good of time to look for a place in TN now, or at least the mountains of NC.

I'll bite. I work at Gerrard Tire Co in Charlotte. 60hrs a week and the work is hard as hell but it pays the bills. I'm also a full time student at University of Phoenix. Going for my bachelors and masters in health administration. So in about 3 years i'll have a lot more time on my hands and be a lot happier also.

I just got cut yesterday, so I'm in the same boat. I'm going to move, so if you are interested in an house in winston-salem with a great garage, let me know!
Hope you and I both find work soon.

That sucks guys, I wish you both good luck!

Sorry to hear it man. I figure the PO will do it after the holidays.

Was just offered a good job around here though if i want it. Doing what i did in the military but just training troops before they deploy. Its a contract job so we will see. He has just started it up, so i am going to give it some time.

senior at Southwest.
awaiting acceptance from NC State, ECU, UNCW, and Appalachian.

Go Pack and never look back :)

Be different and go UNCW. Surf and women...

I agree, if you get into UNC-Wilmington go for it. However it really depends on what you want to major in. I had no idea and ended up at UNC-Wilmington and had a blast and majored in Business. I did miss college football!

If you like to get outdoors, then App maybe the way to go. Hiking, mtn biking, 4wheeling, rock climbing, snowboarding, etc.

UNC-Wilmington is more fun if you like salt water, surfing, free diving, hanging out on the beach, etc. Masonboro was insane and still is today.

ECU and State are both great and may provide more job connections in the future.

OR, you can be really different and have the time of your life and go to WCU! haha.

Dang, ya'll sound real edumacated!hahaha
I work with a Mac Masons, its just 4 guys and a dog that do high end pools and stone work, part time bouncer sowntown in Raleigh, and a part time student in the radiology field.

Ironic, I just got my letter of acceptance from them in the mail today.

I ended up going to WCU because APP "lost" my application. THat's what they told me anyways. They said to mail another one and they would guarantee me acceptance in the spring. So i was pissed and went to WCU. GOt there and never wanted to leave.
