I am a mechanical engineer for Sony Ericsson. I design mechanical parts for mobile phones and my specialty has become displays, circuit boards, and flexible printed circuits. Not a glamorous job, but it pays the rent and has allowed me to travel around the world.

Doug here. I'm a 20 yr career Army guy at Fort Bragg who has just recently submitted a retirement request. So I'll be doing something else for a living soon enough.

Doug we need to talk before you retire. Need to make sure you do everything for the VA.

I'm a sales rep for Pella Window and Door. I have lot's of down time now.....

Sorry for the late reply to this, just back from my 17 day bike trip :D

Hey All...I'll play too. I'm a High Touch Operations Manager (HTOM) for Cisco. And before anyone asks that is the "network communications technology" company, not Sysco, the food delivery company. I am a liaison between some of the top tier customers and the engineer support team. We make sure their problems get handled, help allocate resources for rollouts, and do trending analysis that helps the customer identify areas of concern.

Right now I'm in a crazy training class where I have attained my CCNA and I am working on my PMP and hope to rejoin the general public in mid-September. Did I mention life kinda' sucks right now????

I'm a commercial Real Estate Broker for Brown Investment Properties headquartered in Greensboro. I work with one partner out of our remote office in High Point. I specialize in Furniture Market building sales and leasing, but also focus on industrial, retail, development, investment properties and apartment complex sales. If you need to purchase property, a building or need space for lease in the triad, i am your man.

JFZ80,

I'm going to have to run some ideas across you for my hardscaping plan for my yard. I'd like to do most of the work myself, but would love some help drawing up the overall plan and tell me what I'm getting into!

Brian

I'm in Commercial HVAC sales selling everything from Chillers and Air Handlers to small ductless split.

I too am in the landscape industry. I work for a commercial landscape installation and maintenance company out of Raleigh. I am the sales mgr and spend my days with a measuring wheel and visiting property management companies throughout RTP. I love the days when I am out there estimating or designing and dread the days when i'm crunching numbers inside. Would love to get into some of the high end custom work like JFZ80. That picture is quite impressive.

I am an Architect. Done mostly residential and commercial. Now in the Healthcare field.

I fly Search and Rescue helicopters for MCAS Cherry point, those from Eastern NC know us as "Pedro". And when I'm not doing that, I get to wiggle the sticks on a Cessna Citation 560 Encore

Here's both of my rides

System/Network Administrator in RTP @ NetApp.

I work for UNC and evaluate children with hearing loss to help determine if they are candidates for cochlear implant surgery. I also help them develop their ability to hear/listen and speak. In the next month or so I'll be transferring within UNC to coordinate a (at least) 5-year study on this pediatric population.

If you thought my presence was hit-or-miss now, wait until I try for my doctorate!
