Hey Steve, any feedback you can share on the Terrain Tamer HD clutch? I'm researching options for my own setup for a 1hdft as well. Thanks in advance

Still running strong. Have towed a 3,000+ pound trailer behind for at least 10,000 miles, wheeled, etc. No issues with the Terrain Tamer setup.

Excellent thanks for the detailed feed back! Forgot to ask, which flywheel are you running?
Factory new from Partsouq - 300mm version. Motor had an automatic, so needed a new one.

Found a US supplier. These guys assemble clutch cover parts to achieve higher clamp force. They don't manufacture pressure plates. They mix/match other manufactures unassembled parts and will modify fulcrum points if needed. They make their own clutch discs. They don't have the t/o or pilot bearing but those are easy to get.

The listing is for 1fz which is interchangeable with the hd-t. I had them make a 21 spline version at no extra cost. I just received the parts today. The cover has an aisin mark. It's obvious that they assembled it and the diaphragm is different.
One odd thing though. The friction material is wider than the friction surface on the fw and plate. The outside diameter is correct but the disc material is 2.5" wide vs 2.125 for the stock parts. Doesn't seem right though I'm not sure it will cause a problem. I may wait until Monday to call them before installing it.

Price is better than other options. Hopefully it works well.

Which pilot bearing you've used for this set? What engine and gearbox are you running?
