Oh and im getting insane loud brake screaching noise with the new discs. Not sure why thought, think the car is pissed of i am not driving it enougj

Drove the car a bit and its much better, guess the ECU is back to normal.

I did notice a hectic revving with the AC on and a the sound of a cutout engaging and disengaging.
I think there AC is turning on and off in quick secessions causing this.

I turned AC off and everything stabilized, not sure what the issue is any suggestions?

Possible pressure switch for Freon, next to the receiver dryer

Added an LED hood lamp for night work routed it to a 6 switch panel already inside the car.
While doing that releived pressure of cables and moved things a bit.

This is going to take some time till i finnaly have everything back or close to standard.

The battery isolator is functioning along with the current setup so will keep it as is for the time being.

Need new turn signal bulb mounts, one is temperamental and keeps cutting out. It was badly patched up before.

High head beam light is burned, will replace them both along with new headlights

The fendor is a mess. Its aluminium but the mounting done is horrendous.

I am still rethinking how to reinstall this or if i have to change the whole thing

Its basically a u bar with a welded L metal thats welded to the u shape.

As far as i understand any impact meants all that is holding the fendor is the welding.

I would imagine i need a metal square that is bolted to the chassis and directly to the fendor.

The fendor seems to have also been drilled excessively and its aluminium as well.

Some updates since my last post.

Noticed battery volt reading 12 volts, upon inspection whoever fitted the old belts (PO) used a small bolt which came lose. This losened the alternator enough for the belts to sag.

Made temp repairs drove to mechanic, replaced all bolts with original and 2 new belts fitted.
Also got a spare 2 to keep just in case

Fitted 2 nice LED for back lighting and attached them to the panel box i had with 6 light buttons.

Filter change and sorted out some cables.

Changed LED blinker lights good value for money but size is too small had to add duct tape to keep it in place until i figure out another solution

Right lower bulb blinker bulb was acting up. Got an old one from used spare parts, epoxied it swapped connectors and got it working.

Took the Nomad for a trip, just wanted to feel how it drives after the repairs. So much different than the neglected rattling car when i first got her (why does it feel right saying she not he??)

Noticed very high pressure when i opened fuel cap to refuel. Looks like i need a charcoal cansiter swap. That is also why sometimes i'm smelling fuel.

Some lovely weather on my trip.

Added a flag pole and repaired the barn door holding tyre. Metal on metal was horrible noise so added rubber and a nut to keep it in place.

Soooo much quieter now.

Tried out the solar panel for mounting position, want to get a bigger panel and permanent mounting.

Nice storage in the ambulance doors, enough storage for cleaning equipment, tissue gloves etc.

The Nomad and my first real offroading, extreme adranine rush on quite a challenging course.

Superb leadership by my friend in his XJ.

Table fitted under roof rack, will need better locking mechanism and some way of keeping table from vibrating.

Got water proof connectors and will rewire lighting to have a quick release water proof connectors.

I am still looking for a quick release idea of lighting.

Solar panel was great too small (40 watts) but kept my secondary battery charged in my trip. Will look for a more permanent solution for it but a must have.

The dunes are extremly tough vibration wise, had one cable connector lose. I can imagine how much this contiunes vibration will cause issues.

I will need to probably look at proper tighting and maybe a thread sealer. I lost some bolts i had installed on roof rack because of vibration (and me skipping the use of my torque wrench)
