done. It's in some dumpster near Durhamtown. Took care of the rusted areas from dents and scrapes and shot a coat of black paint. Going to line-x it and some other stuff in the next couple weeks. My body looks terrible. I caught the passenger door at d-town. Stupid stupid me. It won't buff out, neither will the driver quarter panel.

Piss poor planning on my part, ruts carried me straight into it.

I like the look of the new rear. Great Departure angle!

MT/R Impressions

So I had a chance to try out my new GY MT/Rs for the first time off the road, and I must say that I really like them. I can't tell which is the bigger impact here: moving from AT to MT tire, or moving from 33" to 35" tire. Either way, the difference was very significant. I was able to cover land with far greater ease, and managed to extract myself from situations where previously I would have been stuck for certain.

Though with far fewer miles under my belt, I heartily echo Spressomon's positive comments on these tires at this size--285/75R18. They did rub a couple of times, but nothing to stop progress, or create permanent damage (will look into options to contain this in the future.) :D

sonk. are you still running AHC with sensors moved or have you added a lift with standard suspension.

Great looking pics btw

Just running with the AHC sensors adjusted. So far so good. I just did the AHC fluid flush a week ago, and it made a really nice difference in the ride. Made it much smoother than I ever recall it being.

Nick, that rear looks good! lol maybe you should just leave it like that so you have a good departure angle, your spare can just go on the roof:)

I was there last February....slicker than monkey schittz....even a FJ40 with super swampers, locked front and rear....had to winch up one hill that he could have done in two wheel drive backwards if dry. The mud gumbo there is a game changer.

on old trails they had a terraced trail downhill...you would slide and hope you stopped on terrace before going down to next...talk about pucker factor.:steer:

I went down Grand Canyon faster than a bat out of hell. All 4 wheels left the ground multiple times  :hillbilly: That place would be awesome if it was bone dry. You need to come check out the new park son

looks great. the stock 06/07 wheels are awesome. i'm running the same game, 35s on stocks. is your backup camera pretty much covered up completely by the spare tire?

again, looks nice. like mine but black!

I might in February...if it dries up a little...that mud they have dry is like concrete or stucco under rig and wont come off...as I guess you know as well. LOL

Let me know when you do come down. I will be more than happy to ruin my 100 again.
