Bill Burke- Pembroke VA

Here are a couple of shots from the Pembroke,VA training weekend with Bill Burke. He did a great job. Several Defenders, my 100 and an LX470. I would definitely recommend Bill.

View attachment 244133Here is the LX470 and a group shot. It rained just enough to make everything very slippery and the trees were tight. The LX470 had stock tires and really had trouble getting traction once it got slick but it did great otherwise.

That's a GX470, not an LX. Nice pics, though!

few new pics up of my recent trip on the weekend. wish we could get those slee rear bars in OZ, nothing looks anywhere near as good as that design :)

Just got my 33" (285/75/16) Muddies fitted with some stock steel GXL rims painted black. Difference in traction is amazing.

03 gx470

can't seem to find any GX forums... so decided to share here:)

Here's my 03 GX. Stock except for a hitch receiver and a few AV upgrades. My old Land Rover was for off-road abuse and work. The GX is too nice right now. Give me a few years and it will probably get a bit more off-road use. Maybe I'll just get an older 100 that already has some wear on it.

I drove a few LX470 and LC100s that were nice, but really like the more compact GX model. It just feels more nimble. Down to personal preference though.
