The event is held at Katemcy Rocks in Mason, TX. I took a group out for a gravel run in the Texas hill country south of there.
We just drove through there yesterday on our way home to NM. Looks like fun.

Cool looking cruiser! How's the wind noise with the roof box? with just the crossbars?
Here's my '06 next to its much-younger sibling this morning at a local grocery store.
Out for some camping over spring break with the kiddos- just by chance the guy who pulled in to the spot next to us had a cherry LX and a camper as well.
It’s a Rhino Rack with aero bars so very little added noise. Nothing bothersome that’s for sure. I’d say that it’s the same with the box. I either don’t notice any extra noise or I got used to it so quickly that I don’t even think about it. I have driven it with just the rack and with the box. In the beginning I was trying to pay attention to any extra noise with either combo and they never bothered me so I just left everything installed.
