What duffel looking bags are you running there? Are they waterproof? how they holding up? TIA
These are the ARB Cargo Dry Bags. Size medium and large. Water / Storm / Dustproof.

They have held up really nicely, I've put them through several storms and dozens of dusty off road trips. The outter material is heavy duty and the end caps are like a thick rubber...... I think the key to these / any dry bags is storing them flat and keeping things from creasing and wearing out

If your a guy who likes a good bag, check out RedOxx duffel, made in Montana.... Not waterproof but these suckers are the best bags I've ever bought.

Thanks man. Don't need a waterproof bag all the time but there are occasions where one would prove their worth. Thanks for the tip on the ReddOxx will definitely look into those for other uses

Did you add any transmission coolers etc. to tow something that big? How is it holding up?
I did not. Took her up some steep hills, some seriously long grades with an outside temp of 90-95deg. Trans temps (monitored via Torque app) made it up to 220 during the long grades but dropped back quick and the trans shifts well today.

Ruidoso, NM needs all the Ts&Ps. Fire everywhere it seems. Will see how many houses are still standing when the smoke clears. Happy to have all my family out safely. Helped a friend evacuate and then it was our turn. The whole village was evacuated at 6:40pm.

Man this sucks. We were supposed to be headed up there tomorrow to our cabin. Obviously that ain’t going to happen. Right now our place is safe. Hope it stays that way! How’s your home doing?
