I hope to start this as my next project next year. I bought it out in california about 10 years ago when I was in the marine corp. Its a 1973 plymouth barracuda with a 340 small block. These are really old pics I Have better ones somewhere.

Too bad old MOPARS aren't worth anything. ESPECIALLY Barracudas and Challengers. Trade you a 1961 Honda Trail 90 for it.

I noticed MN plates. Do you live in MN?

Looks good. just make sure you get the bezel right:lol:

I wouldnt trade or sell my Barracuda for anything, my father and I drove it back from calli before he died, so way to much sentimental value for me.

Sorry to hear about your dad and I agree, I would never get rid of it either. It does look like its in great shape.... from the pic it seems like all it needs is a coat of paint. Good luck with all the projects.

so you got married and stopped working on your cruiser???? :flipoff2: hows it going man?

Funny how that happens. I got married and stopped working on my 71 after the 1st year. Cruiser sat for 5 years after that. Back on track now with 2nd rebuild.

Any updates, Ernest? Good work so far!

Well finally started back on the cruiser this weekend. Replacing the old drums with disc brakes from a 76 cruisers. Its going pretty slow but its coming together. After I get the front rebuilt I will start plumbing the brakes and running the new wiring harness.

It is nice to see that you are working on your cruiser. I like the advise on the reciepts. Someone asked me the other day how much I had put into mine and I told them that I didn't keep track and didn't want to know. Your right they are a money pit, but they're fun.

finally got the passenger side put back together this is taking longer than i thought. More time and experience would be nice.

If this stuff didn't take longer than you originally planned, it wouldn't be a sickness.:D
My last project was supposed to take a week or two weeks tops, it turned into 3 months...
