Spoke with Mike at Seatbelt Planet. He could not have been more helpful. UPS ground will have them there next Tuesday. I didn’t ask about the turn around time. They should be a remarkable improvement over this.

I have postponed this project for so long as well. Truly happy to have sent them off. My drivers side belt was old and twisted to the point where it would hang up and catch. Will post photos when I get them back.

i think southern coatings in gulf breeze had the long wait. The other 3 were in Pensacola.
I found another in Milton….HR dustless blasting and coatings. Will call them Monday.

The oil filter housing gasket arrived Saturday however I knew not to lobby for garage time today.
Next weekend. Agonized about powder coating the rear heater when I though ”what the hell, I don’t even need the rear heater”. So bought a 1/2 inch 90 and deleted it while my wife was having some “alone time“ on the beach. Then detailed her 200.

I pulled my rear heater too but plugged the hoses going back there. Deleting them is a way better idea for us anyways…

I left the hoses running under the seats to the heater just pulled the heater and plugged them but it’s cleaner the way you did it. Ditto every time you do something I’m like …

Got my half doors painted last week they look excellent. Almost hate putting them on compared to the rest of my mediocre paint job. Should be nice though.

Planning on running the half doors with the amby doors removed and the tailgate panel installed for the summer instead of removing the top completely. Will see how that works out. Will post pics when done.

I really want to swap the tires/wheels out for 16’s but unsure on BFG’s or the Yoko’s. Waiting on you to do it lol.

Not that you'll ever notice down there, but I think the way you deleted the rear lines might not be ideal. You've created a bypass that could potentially leave your front heater core with little to no flow across it.


I carry a couple of 1/2" brass plugs in my bag that I've used to plug on set of lines before. Something along those lines might be a better method to plug those lines for the long run.

I found a place about 30 minutes away who will blast and powder the roll bar and jump seats for $375.
So I got busy last night. Jump seats out and Roll Bar disassembled. I just need to remove the upholstery from the jump seats.

There’s a place in Bonifay. It’s a large near building. Don’t know anything about them.

What color you going with? I like the pewter on the seats personally.

@thatcabledude …..I have looked at photos until I am blue in the face. Likely going with black only because I like the contrast with 031. If I had any other color I would be leaning pewter. The only catch is that I want to do brown upholstery which looks good on black but even better on pewter.
And I have the pewter metal seat backs that I would like to add.

Dropped off Roll Bar and Jump Seat frames at powder today, then had a little time in the garage.
Stainless M10 in the tub holes. Scrubbed the rear area of the tub with CLR then applied Penetrol.
Cleaned up the cargo mat.
Added a coat of “school bus” yellow to the jack rods. Epic failure. Looks like .
