I’ve got a friend that builds old street rods. He was telling me if you stick a block of wood in between the bottom of the door and the rocker panel, have someone hold it close and then push on the top of the door to adjust it in. If that makes sense

Yes I will mess with it some. I just am getting ready to take it in for exhaust and thought I better bolt the top on . Don’t need it to turn into a giant frisbee 😳. And noticed the doors.

So after messing with this door a little more and after looking at pics of others I noticed I have the wrong doors or top 🤦🏻‍♂️ I honestly had no idea . So now looking for the correct doors 😞. And I guess these will make really nice half doors 🤮

I have the ones with the thinner tops 😐

Also have the Budbuilt Redline cut rear 1/4s coming Should start the cage next week

Budbuilt 1/4s arrived today. These are very well made. I set one up on old blue just for reference. I went with the redline cut since I am moving my rear axle back . I am super sick today or I would be installing them . Going to have to notch we’re the rear hinges mount or I think the doors will not fit right. Will figure that out another day 🤮

Ok Here we go. . First thing the gas tank cut out 🤦🏻‍♂️ But that I can fix with a little weld cut and grind to get it the correct way. Not the end of the world .

I am also going to go up 1 3/4 on the cut out .

So question for you guys . I have a Diamond rear axle housing that is a FF It would be 65inches wms -wms 4 linked rear . The only issue is it is a center diff . I do not want to change the t-case at this point . Do you see this being a issue if the D-line runs at a angle ? I dont think the d-line would know the difference . This would also make a much cleaner setup for the rear links . I thought about cutting 1 side down but that would only give me about 2 inches offset and do not think that would be worth it ? thoughts

A little off topic but I picked up a new to me Tundra Has 40k miles I am really liking the interior much better than my older one.

Angles don't care if they are on the vertical or horizontal plane... You just won't be able to run a CV shaft. Make sure all your other angles are right and it will be fine.

Not a fun week. I got really sick this week so not much done except stay alive 🤮. Fever broke yesterday. Moving slow today but at least i am doing something . Both fenders are done and welded . 3/16 3x3 angle mounted 👍 and starting step/ sliders .
