Why thanks! I’m just struggling along.Great build! How has your AHC held up?
No issues with the AHC basics, it goes up and down adjusts damping and does its magic just fine. I have a bit of an uneven height issue on the right rear which persists beyond adjusting the offsets in tech steam and sensor lifting, so there is a zero point somewhere I can’t find or the ahc ecu doesn’t love me. It’s no more than the ‘cruiser lean’ and sometimes I’ll be flat as flat and the next day .75” out. It isn’t a problem, just a thing.
I don’t worry about getting stranded or anything, it always works fine. I imagine in a year or two I’ll replace the globes, they are only $150 each, and I think although fine, it’s a good 10 year maintenance item.
Previous owner had the ‘shocks’ replaced due to leaking, which is also normal.
In general the costs and maintenance schedule is in line with or less than a stock spring suspension, and WAY less than a lift and aftermarket setup.
I fit real 35s with only minor adjustments and minor rubbing, have a nuts on alignment with stock UCAs, and have 3” of on demand lift for messing about, while driving home at 80 with a 1” drop for better aero.
