That was a freakin fantastic game...glad to see all the Ga hype was just that, hype. The good news is you should be able to mop the floor with Carolina next week. Intense, great game for opening weekend.

Bad news is UGA ain't playing Carolina next week. Po old Lamecocks are traveling to Athens.
I'll take wagers on the Dogs scoring 35 points on USC's D.
That was a great game last night. Looked like two ACC teams in a scoring fest!
I'd expect a bit less points on the scoreboard next weekend.
Moo U looks like they have only one team in their way to MNC.
Guess who. It's Clemson worst nightmare scenario. Undefeated and needing only to beat
a struggling Gamecock to go all the way.
Uh oh...THAT loss would be some kind of painful.
We shall see.
USC will probably lose 3-4 games getting to late November.
Any takers for CU vs USC straight up?

It also depends on if the lamecocks can stay healthy til November. I see georgia taking their frustrations out on Carolina Next week.

Steen you must have been in the nosebleeds or drunk in the 2nd and third quarters when our D had 3 sacks and 5 straight 3 and outs on you. We played half a game worth of D. Maybe you were more focused on your players faking injuries to slow down the tempo.

Speaking of faking injuries....UGA was really grasping at straws to find a way to win.

That is pathetic, I would be absolutely embarrassed as a fan if my team was pulling that crap. LSU did the same crap in our bowl game.... the SECheat knows no bounds... just pathetic

I hope you are proud Steen those are some classy coaches you guys have down there in Athens to pull stunts like that

You won by 3 at home and gave up 35. Not that impressive. Not saying we were. We are a top 20 team right now... You are top 18. You just don't play a real schedule this season to test it out. USC maybe, but we'll have to see if they have anything.

I was there, great seats, not too drunk, and wasn't impressed with either teams defense... And not at all impressed with with the dip spitting fans around us booing injured players, like they had a clue whether they were fake or not... Real classy.

Embarrassed? I'd be very disappointed if they didn't do everything they could to try and find a way to win... No rules broken, no harm done, quit whining like little girls, you won... Shocking as that is to you.

I hear ya! I'd hate to have to depend on backups to beat Clemson. Oh wait....I've seen that play out before. Maybe CU will get lucky and USC will only play the first stringers.

No it's not shocking at all that we won, I have expected to win this game since it was announced that we would play again. What is more funny than shocking is that it is evident that there are SEC teams out there that are scared to play Clemson and will do anything they can to try and win. I see the days of the SEC being the dominate conference coming to an end in the future....cheaters never win!

I was at the game as well. However I was sitting in the upper deck and I was still extremely jet lagged from a international flight. I'll also mention that I responsibly had a few drinks. The reason Clemson fans boo'ed a "injured" player, is because it was so blatantly fake. It was extremely easy to spot if a player had taken a fall to slow down the offensive tempo. I guess playing dirty is accepted and ok in the Meh-EC.

Unfortunately, the only real injury came from when Malcolm Mitchell torn his ACL while celebrating:doh:

With that additude you got what you deserved, I guess integrity isn't something I should expect from the SECheat and it fans.

Just be glad we gave you the mercy TD at the end so it looked closer than it was :flipoff2:

Super proud of our guys who didn't have to cheat at any point in the game. Your players should try hitting the treadmill instead of the ground, obviously the latter didn't work. We held the best O in the all powerful SEC (according to espn 50 times during gameday) to 27 and a meaningless garbage score at the end when the game was secure. If we hold everyone to 27 or less we will go undefeated.

Turns out he was injured (kicked in the nuts as seen on footage), didn't have time to get off the field and did what the new rules require you to do against the hurry up offense... go down, get stoppage so you can get off the field. If dabo doesn't do the same, he's not taking advantage of the rules as they are designed to work.

You guys crack me up. Cant you just win with some dignity, call it a great game and move on?

Clemson could win out and play Bama in the NC game... and look like ND last year. We won't be there... to my point, you beat a decent team, not a great one, at home, by 3. I can admit that...

I don't know about you Steen but the last time I was kicked in the nuts it was instantaneous gut wrenching pain. Anecdotally everyone I have ever seen hit in the nuts imeddiately drops to the ground grasping at their groin. Not running around the field casually for 15secs and then dropping to the ground after looking to the sideline and nodding...... but that is just me ;p

And Steen this isn't a thread for dignity it is for smack talk, now lick your wounds and get ready to beat those dirtpeckers :hillbilly:  :flipoff2:

There are only 2 reasons he got kicked in the nuts and didn't drop to the ground immediately:
1. He is so hopped up on roids that it took that long for him to feel it.
2. They are so damn tiny from all the roids it took that long to feel it.
Either way he's a cheater, and if neither are the case then he is still a cheater because he faked the injury.

We would have looked better than ND last year and if by some chance we put it together and get there this year we would look better then.

full play here... where does he get kicked in the nuts

Face it Steen your team is dirty, there is a reason you are known as ThUGA..... exmplified by your classless players standing at the bottom of the hill taunting our players running down the hill. In the video at 6 minute mark

I loved it when Musburger gave you the back hand " the most exciting 25secs in college football.......even Georgia had to take a peak"

Wasn't that play... was the play before and quick play offense means he couldn't get off the field. You think it's cheating... get ready for it. Going to be commonplace for as long as teams run the hurry up... and the whining won't change things and doesn't hurt my feelings a bit... but does say a lot about where you are coming from. Sour grapes from losers is more expected... but from the winners? Just weak... I expected more from you guys.

thuga? Never heard that one before. Must not be that well known?

Sorry if we upset you by talking to you as you entered the field. I liked the enthusiasm... this isn't kindergarten... pansies.

Now that is the spirit, I dig it..... Steen you gonna hook me up with a seat next to you in Athens so I can watch the tears roll down your face in person this time :grinpimp:

I wish we played you guys every year:beer:
