i didn't realize there was an ignore button.

With all they hype about how FSU had such a better D than S.Car and other assorted S.Car bashing...and me keeping my mouth shut most of the season it's only natural for me to really rub in S.Carolinas superior football program over that of Clemsux.

It's been a lot of fun! I can't wait to do it next year.

Clowney will be back next season! but that will be he last season!

I'm looking forward to seeing Davis and Wilds in the backfield next year.

lol. David I love your cryptic posts.

By the way if we ever see each other I have a mason jar of shine for you from last years bet. I was smart this year and didn't bet against the Cocks. I've grown tired of betting for a team that lets me down every time.

Smart man. ;-)
I did pick up a bottle of Turkey from an un-named club member this year.
We did our bidness off forum.
Another smart man.

Beverage of choice owed personally...$10 to UC....deal.
I think both CU and USC could have some pretty darn good teams in late November.
I'd bet neither team will be undefeated by then.
I don't see Greatness in 'Em...just yet.

Correction: Richard owes me some Turkey too and let me know when UC gets that $10.
:grinpimp:

When will you guys learn that I only bet on a winning horse.

Interesting article here.

SEC Championship game seats will cost a minimum of $320. The ACC Championship game seats can be had for $4.50. I pay $5 to see a HS Volleyball match... and at least get my money's worth watching that :)

SEC Championship “cheap seats” priced around $400

10:02 pm November 25, 2012, by AJC Sports

Chip Towers, the AJC’s beat writer for UGA, may have said it best: If you thought it was hard for Georgia to make the SEC Championship game, try getting a ticket in the Georgia Dome for Saturday’s game.

It’s one of the most expensive non-Bowl tickets in college football.

On Sunday night, the cheapest ticket on StubHub.com was $320 – and that doesn’t include shipping and handling (It ends up being closer to $400).

And those were seats in the upper, upper section of the Georgia Dome and in the corner of the end zone. But at least you could say you were there, right?

What if you’re a Georgia fan, you think this is the first must-see game since the 1980 national championship, and you want tickets on the 50-yard line? Those will run you anywhere from $794 to $1,176. Maybe an early Christmas gift to yourself?

The winner of Alabama-Georgia will advance to the BCS championship game.

And if you’re confident of your team winning, whether it be Alabama or Georgia, and you want to see them play in the BCS Championship? You may get a “deal” if you buy the tickets early. They are starting at $1,588 on StubHub. Tickets on the 50 are between $5,000 and $13,500.

Makes the SEC Championship game seem like a bargain, eh?
Tickets for the ACC Championship in Charlotte start at $4.50.

Lol!

What do S. Car, UGA, Vandy, UK, Ole Miss, MSST, Tenn, and Ark all have in common?

Answer: They all share credit for their conference's success even though the only real contribution they have made to the SEC's run of National titles was letting LSU, UF, UA and Auburn beat up on them while those teams actually won the national titles (multiple each in the past decade).

Conference fandom is the worst type of fandom there is. Just because FSU, Miami and VT are in the ACC, I would never root for them to win a title...I hope they lose every game they play.

I hear ya! What kills me is how these poor kids get all caught up in this SEC hype and make such poor choices about the college they attend.
Why would getting a shot year after year to knock off Da King of College Football's best be appealing?
They sure as heck are going to lose games. More at some places than others, but forget
13-0 dreams. Just try to survive the war each fall.
Just fodder for the Machine.
Sigh...why o why do so many go down that road?
The SEC is EVIL.
The chant is some Satanic cult thing.
Even the REAL SEC teams do it. Creepy.
I think Mark Richt has made a deal with the Debil.
SEC SEC SEC....sends shivers down my spine.
Saban IS the Debil!
(throws some JuJu chicken bones down)
Bad MoJo for the ACC....beware.....something bad comes their way.

I'm watching a reply of this weekends beat down at moo u

It's the strength of the conference that builds on itself. Great players and coaches want to come to the SEC because of the success the conference has. It's a formula that is working and I personally don't care that non SEC fans hate it... I'd expect that they do since SEC success has virtually eliminated other conference teams from being "in the hunt" year after year.

Having 4 SEC teams winning the championship reflects the amazing depth of the conference and other teams are getting in position to win in the future. (UGA, A&M, SC). ACC is still looking for the one team that could make a run... We'll keep watch... I guess.

I do agree though... I hope FSU, Miami and VT lose every game they play too. I'll add GT to the list :)

Ahh, now it makes a lot of sense.

Unc is that one team. Just you wait. Baby blue will rise to the top or we will get punched again for cheating.

Is that the same way you rose up against Indiana on the hardwood last night?

You know we cannot win it every year. Ill take a championship every 5-10 years. How is Clemson doing? Been something like 31 years? We're you even born then?

How is the ride on other people's coat tails? I'm guessing its very smooth or you are just used to it after 30 years. :flipoff2:

4 in a row....27-17

a mid ranked SEC team takes down a top ranked ACC team.

then again...Vandy, Kentucky and even the newly added missouri could have probably taken clemson down

S.Car is obviosly not riding anyone else's coat tails....we were only one win away from a SEC championship game...a game even more important than a NC game.

incase you didn't notice we tore Georgia...the 11-1 SEC east champs....apart this year...to go 10-2 in the SEC two seasons in a row doesn't make you "riding on coat tails" it makes you "the team to beat in the east"

Too bad the ACC doesn't have any coat tails to ride on:flipoff2:

Ok - I'm over the win now. Time to move on. It's getting to be old hat now.

Will the ragtag Cocks with the new coach be able to stay in the same building with the Tigers on the hardwood on Sunday? Or will the all-sports dominance continue? I would think the Tigers would be better, but Jennings is gone it seems, and Tiger killer Bruce Ellington has started practicing with the hoops team. Stay tuned...

my son hasn't seen a Clemson team beat a S.Car football team since he was born.

Thats enough for me to not mind it being an old hat....cause he's in k-4!

You are clearly riding other people's coat tails every time you start the SEC chant. USuC hasn't won the league or a NC which is why you are chanting SEC and not USuC.

I guess being a fan of the ACC you just can't comprehend what we as SEC fans are talking about. The ACC sucks so badly in football compared to the SEC that it's like explaining a sunrise to a person born blind.

I don't care if it's Kentucky or Bama...if they are facing an opponet from outside the SEC i'm rooting the SEC team.

I'm not sure how that's riding anyones coat tails...maybe that's the same clemson logic that you use to justify that Carolina's dominance over the lowly clemson football team the past few yeas as "lucky"

either way

27-17

S.Carolina is not a team riding on anyones coat tails...unlike clemson we have a scheduel year in and year out that can get us in a NC game with only one loss.

This year we were 1 loss away...4 points in the REAL death valley from making that statement.

It's only a matter of time before we get there!

That my friend is not riding on anyones coat tails...thats being a contender...

The only team in S.Carolina thats riding on any coat tails is a clemson team that had a brief moment in history of getting one NC title...and did so with an SEC coach i might add.

Too bad that was so long ago...

I look forward to the new playoff system...it's been proven time and time again that the SEC does very well against other conference teams. It's just another set of games for SEC teams, coaches and players to show off their skill.

so lets let the chant go on

SEC...SEC...SEC...SEC..
