LOTS of work done recently, mostly all by Jason @ Cruisin Off Road.
4 new Ironman 4 inch springs,
4 1.1 inch spring spacers (to bring it back to full height even when loaded with armour and gear)
4 new Ironman 4 inch foam cell shocks,
Cruisin' Off Road Caster Correction plates,
Cruisin' Off Road custom extended LCA's
ALL NEW OEM TOYOTA BUSHINGS. Everything.
Extended brake lines front and rear,
Other extended bits (ebrake cable, bump stops, etc)
Cruisin' Off Road 1/4 inch steel transmission skid plate,
Cruisin' Off Road front swaybar quick-disconnect brackets
Replaced rear ujoint
Complete steering box strengthener - custom work by Jason, all sides around the steering box. Mine was showing some issues which he corrected, then re-enforced to the max
Full front end job - new birf, seal kit, spindle, trunion bearings, etc etc etc... both sides.
To do yet:
Rear brake discs
Double cardan front joint in driveshaft (maybe)

How do you like the Ironman suspension so far? Does the truck sit level side to side?

Ironman seems good so far, but then again I don't have much to compare it to other than my worn out unknown jdm suspension. It sits currently a little higher on the driver side (on the back spring) which is I believe on purpose to accommodate the driver and spare tire. Not enough that you notice though.
It's definitely firmer on the road, and seems to flex a little easier on the trail twisties.
I'll take a picture of the quick discos.

Quick "fun" update, in a previous post I mentioned the 2 LED rack mount (side) lights I installed for camping/courtesy. I made a little video last week while leaving the office.
15 watt 5-LED metal rack mount lights, one on each side. Individually controlled by toggle switches on my switch panel inside the truck, or alternatively I can turn both on from the remote AUX.

More stuff from this week.
Full re-seal done on damned diesel injection pump (had to remove the pump to do it... boo)
Transmission output shaft seal
Replaced intake manifold seals,
Re-built center differential locker motor (armature, worm gear, etc),
Double cardan front drive shaft,
Installed VHF radio,
Re-mounted coolant block heater
Couple acc belts and oil change
Next week, new brakes, PUMA OBA install in engine bay (if I can fit it...) power steering pump rebuild and high idle switch.

An update on all my repairs and maintenance..... a while back this winter, during one of the cold spells, I noticed the truck would NOT WANT TO START in anything lower than -14 C. Even when the block heater was plugged in all night. I posted up some questions on the Diesel and JDM section here on MUD, but I still couldn't figure out what was wrong. I started to believe that there may be a leak somewhere in the diesel injection lines, contributing to air in the fuel. The leak would become worse in colder temps. But I was having issues identifying WHERE it was coming from, because no diesel itself was leaking out.
Then we (family and I) were visiting in Loon lake (between Clinton and Cache Creek for those BC folks reading...) and had the lovely experience of -33 C, at which point the ol' beast WOULD NOT START. Or rather, it would start, then 10 seconds later (regardless of how much throttle I gave it) it would stutter and stall.
The blessing of this, was that at -33, I was able to see actual DIESEL leaking from around the fuel heater assembly on the fuel filter. So... if diesel was leaking out, lots of air was getting in.
Luckily the family had an O ring kit, of which I found an exact size, and fixed the problem on the spot. Mind you, it took us 4 trips of going out to work in -33 for about 4 minutes a time - after which we had to race inside and warm for a half hour. Brrrr.
Dried out, flat O rings on the fuel heater...

Now, to continue... what's the next best thing to a leak in the fuel system in -33 C?
Well, of course, a WORSE leak. On the way home from Loon lake, the diesel injection pump itself started a very bad leak. By the time we reached our house, there was diesel all the way down the left hand side frame rail, under the truck, and up the back window.

k @#$$#$!!! Luckily, I am a very fortunate guy, and my friend John B from Radd Cruisers was able to show me how to remove the IP, overhaul it (seal wise) and put it back in. As well, one of my best friends Greg ("Ranger Dave" here on MUD) was able to come up to Kamloops for 3 days and help too.
So, in the relative warmth of my new wood stove heated shop,
we stoked the fire and overhauled the pump. At the same time, we removed the transfer case, and replaced the transmission output shaft seal, which had been leaking atf slowly ever since I bought the truck.

Output shaft on the transmission (the seal around which was leaking into the open space between the two sealed units - trans and xfer)
The transfer case on the bench, with the CDL motor removed. This little bugger ended up being a great deal more work than originally expected, since water had gotten into the armature housing, and had rusted everything up - including the 3 little limit switch prongs that tell the motor when to start/stop. I ended up having to completely re-wire the CDL motor with new wiring.
Put everything back together, remounted the transfer case and cross member, CDL works great now - nice and strong and quick like it should be.
