And, consequently, time to replace the timing belt, cam seal and accessory belts!

Do the water pump while your in there too. Its right there and just a few more bolts.

window felts

Andrew,

Truck looks great, 1/4 the way there myself but I started with the LHD. And yes your right I should have put in a 1HD-FT instead but the cost was so much more.

Just wondering what the window felts cost you. all my windows here in wet Chilliwack are slow like a fat lady in a salad bar.

Update: Replaced my front window runs with new ones from Akella! Now I have power windows that work again.

Window runs are cheap from Dan (UPS to a US addy), Onur (Ships UPPS to your door) and like down south, also 1st toyota parts (USPS to your door)... Yan (Akella)is great to use up here as well.

Andrew just wonder how the hell your Oil pressure gauge is so high, you put a new sender or change something? *raises eyebrow*

Yes, I did! During the replacement I also checked it with a mechanical gauge, it was perfect (according to the FSM). Nice and strong, but not over what they say is normal.

Interesting, maybe ill add it to the when I get around to it list lol

Cruiser got some new shoes! Cooper Discoverer STT in 315/75/R16 on black steel rims. WOW I am so far very pleased with these tires. Amazing compared to my Duratracs (in the same size...). Deep snow, mud, rock... they perform amazingly. Cruiser never felt so much like a tractor. *grin* And quiet on the highway too! Very happy. Truck feels less "squirly" on the road too.

Also, took my JDM window visors off. More visibility and I like the look better. From today:

Very nice rig.. !! Me like

Thank you Orange!

Took some time tonight to install my new 15W 900 lumen flood lights on the side of the rack. They fit PERFECTLY and are just the right size. Set back far enough they're still protected by the rack. Oh ya and if you didn't notice, I removed my JDM window visor things.

Installed a VHF? (know nothing about them...just noticed extra antenna).

Antenna hooked up, radio purchased (but sitting at my buddy's in the lower mainland) and currently studying for my license. Won't install the mic until I have it to avoid the temptation.

I hope you're growing to love those Cooper STT's as much as I do. REally stiff in the side wall, really sharpened up initial turn in, quiet, awesome grip at 18psi on rock and gravel roads, amazing on the sand.

I definitely am! Not nearly as quiet as my Duratracs were though. But I understand why. These Coopers have some serious lugs:cheers:

Don't mind the Jeep in the background..............

my wife has a jeep like that but its green and my cruiser is black so i sorta like this pic
