Thanks, PASSED!, this is how it looks now but the chassis inside will continue rusting :repost: :worms:

More rust, it never ends, I could not believe this is allowed for the road check, but I don't think the mechanic missed this? :hmm: :cautious:

But anyway, this was yesterday, nice clean piece under-there from a few years ago:

Half way done fixing this support bracket, reshape wheel arch and some more rust maintenance and should be fine for two years.

file.php

So this is also fixed, and for fun because no need to do it for the road license :poop:
still need to transform my cheap fluxcore welder from AC (sputter) to DC and try to not buy the cheapest fluxcore wire, copper color seems to be for non mixed normal steel, dont know what silver color difference is.
1.25 mm steel plate, no problem welding this, no burn trough in setting min/1/wirespeed 7

:hillbilly: how not to weld your precious cruiser :grinpimp:

I have been working on my lightweight trailer because the horse trailer is far to heavy:

drillings holes, welding stuff, having fun:

Always a movie on utube, not from me, fell a few times but now getting better:

Finishing touch is a bike stand: Quickload transport system Proworks 85cc version for DR350
The 85cc version is 40 cm high and the bigger version is 42 cm closed position at top, fits perfect and snug for DR350 (first hook from two is the highest so will be be more snug in position 2)

Transforming my mig fluxcore welder from AC to DC, no more sputering
Using one 8 dollar MDS 150A 1600V Three-phase Diode Bridge Rectifier Module Board MDS150A
The clamp is plus +, the torch is minus -
Cut the fat wires from and to the transformator and insert the diode bridge, performs way better than before, no morte sputtering.

file.php

After cutting slam them flat with two hammers and drill 5mm holes, ready:
file.php

Drill two 6mm holes to attach rectifier to welder case, might need cooling but I think they can perform red hot.
file.php

And attached a third winch control with cable and 7 plug trailer wire connection (that seems heavy duty and wheater proof)
It has a led light but the purpose is a bit old fashioned because I also have a remote controller, in cabin control and plenty of lights, why use a cable?, we will see.
4 wires again, in/out/plus/min

Visited a 4x4 event an definitely have to join (and try to keep it all alive)
friend drives a suzuki samurai, not one toyota there, more 1000 dollar vehicles, a jeep is 1500 euro, a landcruiser 7000 over here:

This guy was very stuck and they quickly went to the other side to winch him upwards, quite clever to see how they operate the winches:
