Got in almost 3 miles last night. My walking fitness is way up, night and day from where I was. I recover my breath after big hills MUCH faster and the daily soreness in my legs is getting less and less. Walking 2.5-3 miles about 5 times a week now. Wish I could find more free time because I could pull off a longer walk but I'm lucky to get an hour at night to walk.

Wearing a new shirt today that fits better, a size smaller, and looking and feeling pretty damn good about myself. :)

Dave, you are doing really well! Three miles is a good trek and if you are walking at 3 miles an hour up and down hills, that makes an hour of exercise 5 days a week. Anyone who hasn't walked 3 miles recently up and down hills for an hour ought to give it a try, it's no walk in the park. I've been amazed at my own progress in my workouts, strength and endurance since I started last November with the program at the hospital. We all want fast results, but it just doesn't happen that way despite the infomercials. People who think they can diet and/or exercise for a couple months and be done with it will be back where they started within 6 months to a year. It has to become a long term commitment and lifestyle change. Congratulations and keep up the good work! Larry

So I was shooting for a 2 lb/week average.

17 weeks in, I've lots 27.8 lbs. a 1.63 lb/week average. Hoping to bump that up a bit but I can't complain, really. My fitness improvement has been far more noticeable then the weight loss and that's the most important one.

points. they did away with the alternative systems (flex & core) and just push the one now.

Being as big as I am, I have 44 points a day so I can eat like a normal person for the most part, just much smaller portions and no junk of course.

I'd kill for that many points! 31 for me to start and now I'm on maint. now which gives 4 more. Hasn't been bad, snack size popcorn is my friend. Beer is down to a big bottle Saturday night. Keep it up Dave!

Nice! Are you keeping up with Tracking? Seems like it would be easy to let that go. (not that you should)

nice job man. I have to get off my ass and drop some weight.

I am 30 over, worst shape I have been in in years.
