I saw these on CL today, same seller.

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser

Looks like they've been thoroughly cleaned up and had a bunch of new shiny bits installed.

However no reference to anything mechanical done except a carb rebuild and some other minor stuff.

A new dealer in Phoenix? Someone here?

Has a strange feel to it...maybe is too cold in Flag and Greg Mxxxxo is secretly peddling his wares in the Valley?

These look nicer than his normal stuff though.

Happy Thanksgiving CSC, hope you all have a great day tomorrow!!

Notice a lack of exterior pictures and the back of inside. On the 76 the side mirrors and rear vent didn't start until the 77 model. Seat belts mount to roll bar 78 model. Would go over these closely with the fresh paint and lack of rear sill pictures.

I'm glad it wasn't just me.
Something is rotten in the state of Phoenix...

Landcruiser Parts

Seen this one and besides being black with black interior it has already had three owners. Average two years per owner, is that normal?
In terms of the owners... This Carfax is all kinds of jacked up in terms of owners. Looks like each dealer kept it for 6ish months and drove it around during that time or it sat for a while and was hard to sell. I would assume it served as a "demo" for a couple different sales managers.

Good side on the Carfax, the service history looks very solid, always at the dealership. Looks like a nice truck but is it just me or is the price a little high for the miles?

...disregard link for ham radios. Reported as potential scam.
Though those Baofeng cheapie HF radios are quite popular amongst non-HAM folks. Guess having a license and access to better gear options and repeaters and higher wattage is kinda like getting LC parts. Once you start..... :)
