Hey guys-

I'll be in DC the weekend of Dec 13th. If you need anything Mudshipped let me know. I posted in the mudship forum but figured I'd cross post here.

Rick, Nat and Nate can tell you about how pretty I am, if that's important.

Sounds like you fellas have been spending too much time in the woods.

Rick, he has me thinking I might want to back out of the trip to Colluwee.

Well I told the people at work so I guess I would announce it here as well, even though we haven't told our families. We are going to try to wait until Christmas.

Kerry and I are expecting. Her due date is June 24, 2008

So it looks like I won't get out wheeling that much this summer.

WOHOO!! Congratulations to you both. :) :) :)

Congrats!!!!!

One trick is when your wife starts to bust balls about spending $$$ on the truck, tell her you're building it to give to the kid on his/her 18th birthday. Works like a charm.

Congrats!

You are in for a whole new ride... It's called the pregnancy hormone ride. It's a lot like wheelin' with a co-pilot. Lot's of unusual things being shouted at you when you're trying to concentrate, strange requests at inopportune times, etc.

And wait until you see how the dog reacts! Oh boy!

You're going to love it.

All the best!

congratulations Kerry and jason:cheers:
now you just need to find out a place to mount a baby seat in the 45:D

So you have used that like 20 times or so?

Congrats Kerry & Jason!

"So it looks like I won't get out wheeling that much this summer"
Its been lets see....6 years since I've gone major wheeling

Thanks fellas. We are really looking forward to it. I'm sure the dog will be a little jealous but I'm sure he will adjust.

I'll have to try that "I'm building it for the kid" trick to see if its going to work.

congrats Kerry and Jason!!!

Congrats!
Parenting is the hardest job you'll ever have,
but also the best!

So let us know when the baby (cruiserhead) shower is
and we'll all bring parts for the kids future rig!

Awesome news Jason.

On a side note, while my wife was preggo with our first child I had to run to Friendly's and get a Mint chocolate chip, hot butterscotch sundae. I thought the server was going to hurl right there after ordering it.

Keep us in the loop as things progress.

I realized that the current economic times are hitting some pretty hard, but I've been running lean and mean for quite a few years and it's finally paying off later on today.

I'm picking up a 2006 Lexus GS300 AWD with 23k on the clock. I'm very excited as I bought a 1996 Camry three years ago and it was really starting to show it's age with 210K miles on it. It was a DX model, 4 cylinder 5 speed. While it got the job done those 6 hour drives were really starting to suck.

Great time to buy a car!

Nice! Lexuses are great. I used to Valet and I was always impressed by the Lexuses I drove. Most had well over 100K and still drove like new. I think the brand has good performance potential too, but the styling has always been :meh:, except for the IS-F, which is :insert gag smiley:.

that rules rick, nice find. that is going to make the NY state thruway a dream.

I'm a drive train buyer, that's it. As long as it's not ass ugly I don't care. The draw for me was the AWD so I'm comfortable driving it out to Buffalo and back in the winter. I filled up in Saugus and drove home RT1-95 to back roads home an=d the computer measured 31.5 MPG. I'll have to do a longer drive and actual math to confirm but that has been the reported MPG for this car on other forums

No need to alter the seats as I have plenty of leg room and the telescoping steering wheel makes it even more comfortable behind the wheel.
