Yeah we almost ordered that when I was on an inspection there last week.

We only didn't because I'm not sure I would have been able to expense it.

99.99% of Americans have zero issue with giving up their freedoms to the federal government if it makes things more convenient for them.
Having said that. I don’t have a whole lot of confidence in the GOV. -I wander why?
To me the problem is not the Gov. the problem is the corporations selling your data. If people really cared about it though, they would stop using smart phones. And you know damn well nobody is going to do that. Again, because of convenience. The Gov only cares about your data if your a political threat or doing illegal s***. They don’t really care about your deck pics, except the lady at the NSA that got caught with over a million deck pics she had captured.

the main reason why we are not allowed to have phones anywhere near our buildings at work.

Yep, nailed it. Consent to the corporations is given when you create an account, or log in, or accept cookies, or whatever. No one cares to read the fine print.

586 new cases in NC yesterday, highest daily number yet. Lets open it all up! People just do not seem to get it, everyone around here acts like nothing is different. We are past 66K dead in the country.

But staying home watching tv and being with my family violates my rights! Besides....

One of my neighbors had her usual Friday night party again last night. Complete with a Dodge Charger doing its best to spin tires the entire length of her wooded, twisting, gravel driveway at 11pm.

Right now I'm enjoying silent waking hour 3...probably the last one before the chainsaw and leaf blower start getting passed from house to house, as I've mentioned before, like every noisy freaking day around here.

I think that this pandemic is teaching a lot of people about themselves, and perhaps who they really are at their base. I fully understand the financial hardship that sheltering in place places on a great many people, it has effected our household as well. So many people live their lives on the run, requiring constant outside stimulation to feel "good". Home is where they go to take a shower and get some sleep. So being told to stay home violates their life style, their rights.

My question is, what about the greater good? People are getting sick and dyeing daily. Some people that recover are left with debilitating health issues that will go on for who knows how long. People want to get back to "regular" life but regular life has been proven to lead to advancing this pandemic. So I guess what I am trying to get at and ultimately understand is what regular life is going to be during and hopefully after this pandemic. But for now, we need to do things to slow this virus down and or stop it in their tracks.

this has been the hardest part for me personally.
I function a lot better on a regular routine. With gyms not being open i have noticed being a little more down lately. Also my drive to and from work are usually my quiet times and I get to listen to an informative podcast or audio book. This routine keeps me in a better mood due to healthier eating, working out at gym and my quiet time in the car during my drive.

I am not complaining about my current situation. I do understand that it is a small price to pay for the better and safety of our community but I personally prefer to be on the move and don’t necessarily like this stay at home stuff.

Figured I would drop this here. Keep the faith folks :)

Last week m y sister contacted me and told me that my mother had a slight fever and her oxygen was at 75%. She lives in a nursing home in PA, she is 92. Well they finally got testing capabilities at the nursing home at the end of last week. My mother tested Positive. She is now at normal temp and her oxygen is at 95%. Amazing. So she is on the back side of it and doing well. Tough old lady for sure.

Here are the stats from said nursing home.

129 tested NEGATIVE
71 tested POSITIVE
20 tests were inconclusive and will be re-tested

Since the beginning of this pandemic, we are saddened to report that a total of 30 residents testing positive for the virus have passed away.

In addition, 51 staff members have tested positive of which 34 have fully recovered. Others are still being followed and monitored by the Health Department.

Good listen. COVID basically threw fuel on the the global economy dumpster fire..
