Actually, I owe it to an eagle eyed friend who saw it on Craigslist in the OC and bought it, then passed it to me in exchange for a more modern 3 burner that he plans to use in his 80. Funny, we were in Death Valley last week and the stove was mud shipped to me there. We literally poured in some white gas, pumped it up, and immediately cooked dinner on it-in Mormon Gulch at 7400 feet. It required no effort to get running, and I feel fortunate to have it. The tank on the 418 is huge-looks to hold over 1/2 gallon of fuel.

Regarding a 413-they are always good, only you can decide if $50 is expensive. 200As seem to be in demand these days, so $35 seems OK for one in good shape. Now a 426 for $20-that's a buy unless rusty.

Interesting paint job... for starters. Not sure how I feel about a 60 front end on an 80....

If I had a once used 413 sitting in front of me and I had $50 in my pocket I'd be leaving with it but that's just me.
 
GD all that old Cali coleman stuff always looks so friggin new, here in the NE it's all rust.

the other 2 pieces are about 20 minutes away... that 414 was on my mind till I saw that 13D
 
I lied, the 413 and 414 are at the same thrift store...about 45 minutes south.
 
I'm in Mesa AZ. Phoenix metro area. I've never tried the "mud" shipping before. Any idea if that might be available from there to here? Is there a place on the forum to post requests?

That 413g looks really nice. It's an early one. If it's of interest to you and you're close, by all means pick it up. You saw it first. I have a later one with the circular grate. Not as nice and has the usual scorched paint by the generator, but it only cost $20 at a yard sale. There was a brand new, unfired early one on Ebay but it went for $104 plus shipping!
 
Hey, go ahead and call on the 413 or that 414- I'm hoping to getmy hands on that 413D that Tag linked, if the seller calls back. but if it falls thru, I was planning on biting on the 413G if it was still there when I got to it... you should see what's up with it. there are a few in the Fresno area from time to time....there was a new in box 413 for 50 bucks 2 weeks back...and 426s too...
