2013 LC with 195k miles. Had the valley leak last year which was repaired within a week. HG issue started last week with misfires in cylinder 1.

Shop wants to replace all timing components while the engine is torn apart just for preventative measures.
Another 2013? Dam. Seriously seems like a pattern.

Meaning you addressed the valley plate within a week of it starting or within a week of noticing fluid was low?

You guys are still going on about how great CCN is come on, headgaskets are not a major issue with these trucks. CCN is not a Toyota g-d Paul Meeker owner of lextech is someone who I would listen to. Mike at FIGS engineering is another.

You are buying an almost 10-15 year old vehicle. Unless they owned it from day 1 you cannot for certain say X was the cause of the headgasket. That's like every dr saying any patient who has a rash has it cause of chicken pocks.

On my 3rd preventative head gasket replacement this year. Following @ryanCA PM schedules.

How much was everything?

Chiming in here as the (now previous) owner of the 200 in CCNs video. Lots to read on this thread but I pray that none of you ever experience a HG failure in your 200. I enjoyed my 2013 and do miss it. Thinking about buying another 200 but we’ll see. Maybe I am a sucker for pain.

I like that my LC created such a large conversation. Not what I ever intended but it’s some added fun!

I hope you read all 28 pages. Given your rig played a starring role in this thread's genesis.
