I hope you went up into the arch.
The ride up/ down is awesome
My wife stayed up there for 2 hours because she didn't want to ride back down

Making good time I see. Oh, and where are the "pics from the road"? No Arches, no roadside novelties? Come on!

Y'all coming back the same route or are you coming back Route 66 (I-40)?

too tired at the end of day to upload pics. We are in Gunnison Co tonight about 120miles from Ouray. We are sleeping in tomorrow so I may have time to do a few.
When I leave Sunday Claire and I are going to Utah, Montana, Etc then through upper corridor. Ron and Christine are taking a different route.

Very cool trip! Very jealous. Awesome idea for Tellico. UZJay, I might be up for a big window sticker, as well... PM me with info, or start a new thread, please.

Here are some teaser pics...no time to process RAW files all night after wheeling all day then eating and drinking the rest of day....and at over 1 mile above sea level the three or four coronas and the "apple pie" and "blueberry pie" seems to pack more of a punch :D

Night before....2 chests of recovery gear and camping gear...two cans of gas, 1 can of water, 3 camp chairs, hilift, shovel, case of vitamin water, etc...

I am in Dodge City tonight and stopped by the Black Canyon outside of Montrose CO this morning....it is not as large as Grand Canyon but is deeper than Grand Canyon. My pictures do not do this place justice...it was phenomenal.

Hope to make Ashville tomorrow.....as it will be my long driving day with no stops other than a gas and pee stop. LOL

That would be me....yours must have been voodoo blue with steelies, lift and pizza cutters on her I saw.... I got more bugs on my rig than I have ever seen. Might have to soak her good to get them off... :(

Yea i was headed the opposite way to pick up my kids. Voodoo Blue Lift and had powder coated 4runner rims with BFG muds on that day. The bugs in that area where bad. I will be scrubbing them off for a while.

Dave

Sounds like it might be worth taking it to one of those car wash places and telling them there is an extra 20 in it if all the bugs are gone........

Dave

Nice Pics. I am going next year. Wanted to go this year, but was unable to make arrangements in time. We should get a big group next year.
