Well "Brock" (Ron) and I are heading west Sunday morning. We are going to the FJSummit in Ouray Co. next week. Check out our contribution to the Rescue Tellico effort. I hope to post more photos along the way.

It officially starts on Wednesday...15 July with registration and such...trail runs are Thu, Fri, Sat...then Sunday is free day for wheeling or heading home.
We are staying at the Ouray Chalet and should not be hard to find our rigs...

I am returning to Charleston and work the following week...but Dave (PROINV) is continuing his western expedition...think I heard him mention Yellowstone, Rubicon, Moab.....


Yes we got some sponsors.....Sparks Toyota, Florence Toyota, Creel Tire, Lucrum Industries........and we put on the SFWDA under the main banner though they have been totally unresponsive the last 3 months of discussions.....

Very cool fellas..... now a lil collection box on the bumper is all you need :D

oh and watch for those turdsparks if its dry out there.

Put the snorkel on a few days ago. Maybe it will help the FJC bounce of trees. :D
 
packed and ready...I think. Testing load up top one more time to make sure secure...if not got extra straps...can reload it on the way or first night.

Looks really cool. If you see JP can you punch him for me and Chuck. He won't return our calls. For some reason he thinks going on a vacation is a good reason to ignore his friends. That slacker.
 
I saw you guys going up I-26 in Asheville today....cool trucks, great cause...spread the awareness. I thought of painting save tellico on the back window of the 80...

He sent me a message earlier and is going to try to meet up later in the week.
 
How did you get wireless in hotel...i am out in parking lot stealing it from Drury Inn across street...LMAO

I know where all the Sunfusion FJ Cruisers were sold...NC and TN....must of saw a dozen and not a single on has dirt, scratches, or upgrades.....and every drive was face ahead and driivng it like any other car. We got punked from 20 Cruisers......LOL

Cool, glad someone noticed. :hhmm: We traveled 650 miles today and are in Paducah Ky tonight. Hoped to camp at the Land Btwn the Lakes but storms blew through.
 
Some friends of mine have a plotter and some white vynyl, they are jeepers but off roaders none the less. We plan on splashing the "rescue tellico" on the side of our trucks as well, even if we only drive around WNC, maybe it'll get the local people thinking. I guess if anyone were to want a set too we could make 'em for ya it seems like the vynyl is cheap, but i'll have to ask since it is theirs. If there were a cost i'd go directly to the tellico fund. PM if interested. Could you imagine 100+ cars driving around with this plastered to the side of their cars that might spark awareness.
 
Tonight we made Salina KS with a stop in St Louis to visit the Arch and Museum for Westward Expansion that is in the underground level...was getting crowded with MLB All Star Game in town so headed out....then took another side trip in KC for some radio repairs for ProInv for his CB I think.... hauled ass and made Salina barely before dark.

May push into Ouray tomorrow if we can move our hotel rooms up a night...if not will stay somewhere southwest of Colorado SPRINGS.

FJs heavily loaded handle great at 80mph :D :D
