Nicely done dude... so question... how hard was it to remove the center console?
I need to remove mine to get to the cup holes and see if that piece can come out. I want to work with @BenCC to create a replacement if at all possible. Something that is flush with the top but has bigger cup holders.

I wouldn’t say it was hard. I removed the seats and don’t see how you could do it without doing that first. If I recall correctly, I pulled the seats, took out 4 screws on each side of the console and 4 bolts inside the console in the bottom. There is a connector in it for the 12v outlet you have to unplug as well.

No pics, but I had the driver’s side window motor and run replaced today with OEM parts from Toyota Parts Deal. The regulator tracks required a thorough cleaning. The old white lithium grease had basically turned to glue. Total for parts and labor came to just over 550.00. Being able to go to a drive through without having to open the door, priceless.

Took the Baba on a trip to Cheaha State Park today. It’s the highest point in Alabama. I hiked up first then drove up before I left.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted/accomplished anything because 2020.
The prior owner had a ridiculous amount of aftermarket tint on the windshield.

Five minutes and a heat gun and my field of view is finally unobstructed.

Well, the key fob appears to be stuck in USPS purgatory somewhere between Yota MD and Alabama.

I did get two of my wheels painted today. Due to low temperatures, I didn’t have enough warm hours to get them all. I cleaned them with Simple Green. I applied two coats of Rustoleum Tire and Wheel primer followed by two coats of Rustoleum matte black tire and wheel paint.
Hopefully I can get the other two knocked out in the morning.

The black wheels are a nice improvement to the overall look!
Thank you. After shopping for wheels and nearly stroking out at the cost, I painted these. They were tired cosmetically but structurally sound. I used Gorilla lug nuts which were about 110.00 for the black. The old lugs were beat to heck. Would’ve been a super easy job if it was just a little warmer.

Got the A/C system refresh completed with my mechanic. I replaced the compressor, condenser, expansion valve, heater core, evaporator core, and all the heater hoses. I used all OEM parts. If anyone is planning to do this, I have the parts list and can easily post it here.

I got a second valet key done last month by a local locksmith. It’s been nice having 2 spares. I ordered a spare master key a couple weeks ago and went to the locksmith today to pick it up. The driver side door lock actuator was on the fritz and he couldn’t program the key. I’ve got a new actuator en route and hope to have plenty of keys that work in the next couple weeks.

Got the actuator replaced.

Also had the crank position sensors replaced due to a sporadic rough idle. I have the cam position sensor as well that will be replaced at the next timing belt service.

Now for the dumbest problem I’ve had to date. I’m leaving around July 1 for 3 days of fishing for tarpon in Sanibel followed by four days fishing for reds in St. Augustine. Parking is a problem at one of the places so I’m taking the paddle board. First time I’ve thought about using the roof rack. I climbed up to give it a look and it’s missing two of the bolts used to adjust the crossbars

If anyone has two of these laying around, I’d make it worth your while to send them my way.
