I've posted about this before but it has finally come to a head.
When I purchased my triple locked '94 a few years back it came
with the dreaded "click", but it would always start after a few
tries. First thing I did was replace the Battery, Starter and Fusible
Link. The click persisted.
Today, however I went out to do the weekend run around to keep
everything charged and working and she just click, click, click, click
click, click, etc....battery appears to be charged.
I disassembled and cleaned all the batt. connections to no avail.,
same click, click with all the lights on the dash working.
I guess I need to go out there and check the starter connections?
Any other ideas? New Ignition switch?
210K miles.

Oem starter? Rebuilt or new?

As checked with your eyeballs or a meter? What is the battery voltage?

Eyeballs.....dash working, door open beep working, fan works,
actually tried hooking up the charger but the negative wire
on the charger heated up pretty fast, prompting me to clean
the connections.
Charger indicated about a 75% charge.

+1 batt voltage
And something that may actually be an issue in another thread, but ... on the wire(s) connecting the batt to the alt, check that the backside of the wire(s) connector (alt end) is not shorting to the alternator case. This will be a parasitic drain at rest and an arc event when running. The vintage isolation material around that terminal tends to perish and split, exposing the terminal metal to the alt case. Found mine by accident when looking around the engine bay at dusk (low light) and catching the low-level arcing happening randomly. Ended up putting 3 layers of marine-grade heatshrink around that terminal. No issues since.

Will check,
thanks.

All of that is meaningless. That stuff will run on a depleted battery.
What is the voltage across the battery terminals as measured with a multimeter?

She cranked.
Hooked up a different charger for about an hour.
Still got that annoying click, as it took a few tries.
And a new problem, seems some critter has built
a nest in my duct work. Turned on the AC and dust/
debris blew out, now I got limited ac air flow.
Arrggh!!!
OH well, made my weekly loop and she's back under
the pole barn.
