Yep, I agree with how they jack you around when it's subscription renewal time.
I ALWAYS tell them, "Hey, I usually stream Pandora thorough my phone anyways, so I really don't need satellite radio! You can cancel my subscription."
Generally that's all I need to say, and almost immediately they're offering me the same price as the initial offer price.
... then I capitulate and sign on for another year... But at least I got it on my terms!

Back at ya!!

Knowing that the 200 series is essentially dead and all but very few are sold, I went ahead and did a thing.......

Nice! Any more deets you’d like to share?

I assume you are selling the 460 or spare rig? If selling... you should put an ad up here

I'd entertain a 200 series but just wouldn't fit in garage and other priorities negate changing that obstacle at my age.

Too bad I don't do Facebook, because that would of been a great resource for me to get an already modded 460 instead of my stock one.

Blizzard Pearl with Terra interior, it’s the only combo momma would approve of. It’s what she wanted when I bought her the LX two years ago. I talked with Sarjeant about an allocation and he said there aren’t anymore in that combo so I had to act on the only one available that we could find. Luckily it was close by to where we live and they made me a great deal on both our trade and the purchase price and they extended my warranty and service for free.

The GX isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. We traded in the LX. I’m not sure what the plans are for the LC just yet, but at a minimum it’ll get some BFG KO2’s on the factory wheels very soon.

Time to start spending some time on the 200 series forum?

Considering that my LX570 thread is probably buried 20+ pages back it might be time to start a new thread lol. It’ll be a slow build until the GX is complete, gonna let momma enjoy it relatively stock for a while. It’s gonna be a struggle to leave well enough alone haha.

Have you done much driving with the new rack on the highway yet?

Over Christmas I put 500-ish miles on it and last week I put another 250 on it running around Houston and back and then down to the ranch and back the other day. Roughly 1000 miles at speeds of 70+ so far. Below 60 I can't even tell that it's up there but at 70+ I get some wind noise, nothing terrible, but it's there. With the sun shade closed I get almost zero noise up top at any speed but with the shade open above 50 there's definitely noise. I think one could benefit from a wind defector if driving at highway speeds 90% of the time but so far I personally don't think it's necessary, this could of course change at any time haha. I am usually on the phone or listening to a podcast/music when in the car so what little added noise might be there is easily muted by that.

Regarding your wind noise, I just posted in the GX-460 Manuals thread some files for making your own fairing:
Since there has been a few people asking about them. ;)

Nice! Congrats on that new rig, pre-built for the Apocalypse! :clap:Like the GX, that vehicle is so capable and just looks great from the factory. Enjoy!

Stunning weather for January (69F and clear skies) so we decided to hit the beach.
