2-27-09 Status updates coming soon We'll update you when we're able to take new orders. Thanks for your interest!

Many of you are already familiar with this venture, but for those who aren't :)......https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/205028-u-s-soft-top-possibility-version-2-east-coast.html

We've endeavored to produce a high quality OEM style soft for Land Cruisers at an affordable price, and with prompt delivery.

Our first available top is for the FJ40. They are made to be a direct fit to your OEM factory soft top frame/bows.

We don't currently have the frames available for sale. We hope to have them available soon!

Our goal is to add other Land Cruiser models as we progress, FJ25's, 45's, 44's and so on.....

We will also be working towards producing other tops and accessories in the future, FJ40 half top's, Bikini tops, Bimini tops, trail covers, and so on.....

The original OEM soft tops had more rounded windows than what is pictured. The factory type windows are also available. We'll add more pictures soon!

*Note: These pictures were taken immediately after a thunderstorm. The windows are actually very clear! :)

Window Clarity

Not your standard soft top window material! Tired of struggling to see out of your windows? Me too! These are premium quality windows. Made to be longer lasting, durable, and easy to clean. The quality surpasses anything available in a Land Cruiser soft top. Clear Vinyl Curtain Alternative - Strataglass - Crystal Clear 20/20 vs Vinyl

Note: In these photo's the top hasn't even been fully installed, which would draw the panels/windows down tighter, and further decrease distortion.

This top really is amazing!! Once I figure out the bow situation, then I'll order one. Hats off to you guys!!

When will you start taking orders again?

These pictures of your top look amazing, I would like one. Its a great plus that your in the same country too.

I'm looking at having a top by next summer 09, do you think you'll be up and running and can help me by then?

When do you realistically see being able to sell bow sets? I'm trying to get a feel on your timing, I saw that you tended to your post in July,
-you mention on the top -no more orders at current time
-then you mention further down -prices and method of payment, and not long wait time.

So, are you still on hold as of the end of August?

I also sent you a PM but haven't heard back.

Also, do you have plans for a Bimini top soon?

let me know,
thank you!
Will

Fantastic looking guys.......once you have a bow set up w/price I will be getting one. You mentioned the "round back window" any pics? Post colors up for us as well.:)

Last I heard, they were not going to make any more of these tops. The owner of the company had issues finding qualified labor and some health issues on top of that.

Per Kim, softopguy's wife, Travis(softopguy) has some serious health issues. So serious that he is unable to work and they had to shut down their business completely. As she explained it, as Travis was getting sicker they tried to find another shop that would at least make the tops that folks like me had on order. They couldn't find anyone qualified to do the job, so rather than send out an inferior product, they completely refunded everyone's deposits along with deep apologies. Very stand up folks. Hopefully Travis will get better soon. Apart from wishing for his speedy recovery and what that would mean for his family, they actually made a great product and I'd love to see it get out widely in the Landcruiser community. I'm gonna wait a while, still need to get paint and body work done first, and see if he can get his wheels back under him and get something back up and running.
