This happened to me last winter too.
During the winter months when the temp is 32 or below, I start the engine let it warm up a couple minutes. Enough to get the cold idle to drop. Jump in, get going, speed up to around 65 mph or a little more, and the temp gage starts to drop and the heat in the vehicle does too.
I turn the heater to cold, hit the inside air, slow down to about 55 mph and wait for it
to get back up to (mid point) operating temp. This has been happening alot lately.
Radiator has been replaced 1 year ago.
Should I give it a good flushen?
