You are nuts!
Did it feel as tippy as it looked?

The last time I was in Tellico was 1999. Time to re-visit. UGGGH ... cant see video at work.

Ha Ha, that's right you haven't seen me drive. The camera goes crazy when the guy taking the vid sees the truck rear up on one tire and start bounding up the obstacle. I should have warned him but I was focused on climbing out of it.

It honestly didn't feel that bad and I never really gave it much thought. When I first walked the obstacle I wanted to break it into to two sections. Basically taking the second line I ended up doing. But since it was recommended I try the right side I tried that first.

The funny thing is that once on top I had to drive around the bypass and this is where I damaged the rear quarter on the Passenger side.

Yankee Toys should put together a trip down there. It's about an 18 hour drive but broken up in two days and with a few people a nice break in hotel rates would not be much of a problem. I did however spend 550.00 in gas.

nice show buddy
wish i could have seen that live

Spring field trip?

Spring field trip?

We could do that. Here was my last trips itinerary

Wednesday started to drive at around 11:00 am and ended up staying in Roanoke VA. about 12 hour drive

Next day drove into Tellico, about a 6 hour drive and then set up camp.

Wheeled the next two days, Friday and Saturday

Left at day break Sunday and drove to Bethlehem PA another 12 hour drive.

Left around 10:00 am on Monday and drove home about another 6 hour drive.

The first and last legs would be hard to caravan as it's so long and coming from different areas. But the middle two, caravaning should be great.

I stay at Holiday Inns because I get points for work and it ends up being free. But with a few trucks we could negotiate a reduced price for everyone.

Scheduling during school break wou;ld work well also so families could come along. The camping is primative with out houses and there is a river near by for swimming.

Sounds great to me!! Wife wouldn't be along for the ride anyway. We could probably get a good caravan from MA/RI anyway.

rick loves the skinny pedal:D great show! how did those trxus work out?

thanks Nat. The tires off road did real well. None of that side sliding the Pro Comps had and they stuck to the rocks like glue.

The Dynabeads however might be a problem. Both me and Jim are having problem with staying balanced and shimmying with them. I stopped at Harbor Freight and got 3 tire irons and a digital scale so I can try and dial in the amount of beads to get them to run clean. Interested in some manual labor this weekend?
