Where did you get the techstream and did it work? I am looking to bleed my LX470 since I change the hydraulic booster pump.

I also live in oregon... Beaverton.

Never answered. What is the process to bleed brakes / flush with techstream TIS ?

Very interested to learn more about this too. Seems like it still is a 2-person job. I'd like to at least flush the ABS with Techstream by myself (easier without getting SOH involved....).

I’ve used Techstream several times to activate the ABS system after fluid changeout and bleeding, two person job for me because I like to see what’s happening at the caliper during the process. I’ve got a 10ft USB extension cable so I could have the laptop beside me whilst working at the calipers I suppose and do it solo. I’ve posted screen shots of the Techstream brake bleeding utility in action previously in a thread called “ABS bleeding after caliper change” or something like that.

Thanks for the suggestion. Ordered a 10ft extension cable (cheaper than a divorce!).

I had seen the screenshots earlier and poked around in Techstream as well, but it seems that brakes still needed to be actuated while opening and closing the bleeder. If timing is not critical, I can probably prop something between the seat and brake pedal and use the extension cable to get to each corner.

Anybody with experience mind sharing a few pointers on bleeding the brakes using techstream on a 2000 LC? I thought I read there was only an option to bleed the fronts only or maybe that was for pre 2000 non ABS models?

Do I start with fronts and work my way back? Any specific order? I’ve read a ton of threads but almost all say something slightly different.
