I guess we should ask about interior door opener arms and window regulator arms. I have two different styles and am not sure what year they changed. I'll post a pic when I get home.

BTW, the knobs on all of the earlier cranks were white.

It's amazing what a professional polisher will do. Same arm before and after.

I think the early ones were the small ones and they switched around late 1965 or 1966 to the larger ones. Just by what I have found, but would love to know for sure.

My 65 had the smaller one before they broke

Thanks for all the responses to my interior handle questions. Seems safe to say the transition from smaller to larger "head" and from metal to rubber escutcheons occurred beginning model year '66, so I'm set with handles. Anyone have any extra rubber escutcheons they could part with? Can anyone verify that the four I have are original - see pic. I looked into having them reproduced, but the mold alone was $995. Would take a lot of interest by '66/'67 LV owners to justify that.

Both of my '65 LVs had the larger metal ones.

Really like the caprice blue. Body looks very solid. You my friend, have bestowed with good LC karma. :)

Time to share a few more photos of what's been going on the past year. I have to admit I was impressed with the way the shop approached disassembly. As you can see from the photos, once a part was pulled it was blasted, welded if needed and sprayed with epoxy before being shelved.

Next up, the apron and doors. After 50 years, there was a bit of metal fatigue and sag in the doors to address so they got a little extra attention before going to the blaster and paint booth.

With the front disassembled and shelved, it was time to assess how Gifu's 50 year old handy work had held up to the elements and custom mods at the hands of the PO. First, a little walk around the exterior.

Many of you have had nice things to say about the condition of the floors. I only now appreciate how fortunate I am. But they still have some issues - most of which I believe can be traced back to a leaking rear heater.
