Have any of you mounted a 9100 in your GX460? If so, where did you elect to mount the switch panel inside of the cabin? The 5th Gen has a great custom built panel for the left side of the steering wheel that SDHQ offers and others like the Tundra have snazzy overhead sunglasses compartment mounts or cutouts near the console shifter, but I’m not seeing anything offered commercially for the 460. So where are y’all mounting them or hiding them?

A-pillar grab handle. Used DIY fix at first, then had shop fab me a bracket.

I put mine where the traction control and headlight washer button is. I moved traction control over to the center diff lock side. It does cover the headlight washer button but never used that.

Bumping this to see if there are any other suggestions.

I have mine mounted with 3M adhesive backed hook and loop (aka Velcro) mounted on the left side of my steering wheel just below the binnacle.
Out of the way but easy to get to. I thought I had a photo of it on my build thread.
Tomorrow I'll take a couple of pictures and post here while also updating my thread.

Here are some photos of where my modular switch panel is located.
I used 2" hook and loop (Velcro) for attaching. Never have had an issue yet.
It's not plainly visible from my seated position (see photo below) as it sits behind the steering wheel and turn signal stalk. But for me, I don't mind and it's not a hassle to move my head a little to see which button I push, especially when I know where the position of the buttons by feel are for each function: air compressor, front locker, rear locker, lights, etc.

The below photo is with it pulled off from the "fuzzy" Velcro.

This is my view with the camera sitting on my nose to give a perspective of my actual view in the drivers seat.

I made a bracket out of sheet metal and have it wedged into the roof console.

Nice! This is very similar to the one that Treaty Oak is working on. How hard was it to run wires under the headliner?

That's a clean setup! Did it come with enough wire to run it all the way up there?
The Voswitch relay box is near the passenger side firewall. Plenty of cable for the switch panel. Running it across the headliner and down the a puller was easy. Once you have the map light off, there is plenty of room to run the wiring.

I have the Ohana Rig Supply mount incoming

I’m currently working on mounting the 9100 control panel into the flip down sunglasses holder. I anticipate that I’ll loose the sunglasses holder functionality, but plan to keep the flip down mirror. Once I finish, I’ll probably write a how-to thread since it seems this is a common issue that we run into with the GX.
