Question for those of you have have had suspension installs done, whether that be just struts and shocks replaced, a lift with new springs, UCAs, etc.: Did you have it done by a Toyota dealership, a shop specializing in offroad stuff, or did you just do it yourself. I'm considering suspension lift options but am not sure I really want to tackle that project myself. I installed a 2" OME lift on my Jeep TJ but that seems like a much simpler undertaking. LC200s being so rare, and modded ones rarer still, it seems unlikely that most offroad shops would have any meaningful experience with them. Thoughts?

You're only an hour from Valley Hybrids @orangefj45 . They know what they're doing if you want to go that route.

Edit: I wouldn't trust a shop not familiar with KDSS with the rig. They'll hose something. That said, it's not all that difficult if you have the right tools. But Valley Hybrids is the best option at your location if you want someone to take care of it for you.

I could do this on my own but don't have much time. Slee did my stuff on my 100 and 200.

I am about to install the OME 2" medium with Total Chaos UCA to my 2016 Land cruiser myself "Driveway". The only issue is the OME parts did not come with instructions so Im not sure the torque settings I need...

I did the same install just with out the uca on a 2016 Tacoma that was easy but I had a YouTube video that showed each step with torque settings. The lc200 also has the kdss to work with. But once I figure out the torque settings I will install in the next week or 2. I plan on adding 285/70r18 ridge grapplers to the stock wheels. And that will be it for a while. Lol

If you do decide to tackle this project by yourself, ask the parts supplier to pre-assemble the front coilovers. It will save you several hours during the install process. We offer any of our 200 Suspensions pre-assembled for $75 which simply covers the cost of the upper strut mount parts. No dealing with coil compressors or taking your stock coils off so you can drive them to a shop to swap out with a wall compressor. The rest is easy to accomplish in a flat driveway with 4 jackstands for the KDSS.
