Yeah I spoke to Portland police and they said to sit tight and wait for either a phone call for an officer to show up.

they were very clear do not touch it do not drive it if you drive away in it - you are now driving a stolen vehicle and you will be pulled over guns drawn.

I literally laughed at her and said “yeah right - that would mean portland police are even anywhere near close in se portland. they won’t even show up for breaking and entering calls.

she was nice enough and seemed to
hear my frustration.

yeah i told them i found it. they punted me to non emergency.

i have little faith portland police is coming - and ted wheeler sure as eff isn’t either!

kudos to my wife we’re having a good eye.


I’m sitting by the truck waiting for the police - she walks over to the grocery store and she finds one of my fishing flies on the ground so now we have a direction to start looking.

so we hit this homeless camp by the grocery store and sure enough I find my cargo box and my ARB awning on the ground at this camp so I’m waiting for police here as well now!

If the cops ever show up get them to run the tag/vin on the red 60 and male sure its not stolen

Have you contacted PPB auto records at 823 0044 about that red one? Good chance it's hot also. I'm happy to come out today as well but I only have pepper spray and a charming personality.

So here’s the irony of this whole s*** show

you’re right it’s been found but not recovered so I can’t take it because it’s still flagged as a stolen vehicle

I’m about four blocks from this homeless camp where my other goods are just sitting on the ground I’m waiting for Portland police to show for that as well.

in the meantime these tweakers could go back over to the cruiser and just hop back in it and it would be lost again - so now I’m thinking I need to at least disable it so that they don’t use it for other missions.

is it out of sight of the camp? can you go over with the key and take all the plug wires off, or pull the battery out, or a main relay?

my property is on the ground at this camp under a tarp. i have eagle eyes and i saw a corner of the arb awning sticking out. that’s how i found it.

cruiser is only a couple blocks away.
if popo show up here at campsite. i’ll then move. back to cruiser and work to disable the truck

Get underneath and pull the trigger wire out from the starter solenoid, no tools at all
