I have a 96' TLC basically all stock. I have some Toyo M/T 315/75/16 's, new, on my F-350 (have to sell it though..) So I am looking to keep the tires since I like them so much and just swap them over to the TLC.
I would like to make it a little more off-road worthy. I am considering getting the OME heavy lift (3") in order to mount the toyo's. Wondering if thats all I would need to make it work.. any suggestions?

If you have the lift done by a shop and they will work the Castor issues for you, then extended brake lines would be a good thing before you wheel, but not necesssary for on road. You might read the OME thread in the FAQ Modifications section.

When you get to a certain lift, castor and drive line issues start to be a problem.

If you haven't had your front and rear axles Ujoints checked/replaced/balanced, you might consider this - See Driveline write-up in maintenance section of FAQ.

Those are great tires and you will like the looks of them on your Cruiser. Several guys here have this size tire so you might want to do some searching for more info.

All I did to fit this size tire was to put OME J springs, front and rear, and L shocks lower your sway bars front and rear, extended brake lines are recommended but not manditory, extend bump stops, do a caster mod of some kind, and gears eventually. The list of mods sounds simple but does add up.
Some guys haven't needed custom dble cardigan driveshafts, and others do. So far mine is vibration free with stock shafts. You will loose a lot of power but it's not like adding large tires to a 4 cylinder truck so you can live with it for a while until you have money for gears. That's my next mod.

Those tires will fit fine on your factory rims. Do some searches and you should find lot's of info on this, guys real life experiences, and lot's of typing that most get tired of doing over and over.

I should have waited for those tires to come out, but found a great deal on my MTR's. I do love the looks of that Toyo.

Thanks MoJ, 315's look darn good on your truck!
Do the tires ever rub against the flared fenders?
Is that the heavy OME lift you have and where would you say the cheapest place to pick up that lift would be?

Slap them on and see what they need to clear, they will be fine for normal street driving. Off road when flexed the inner sidewall will lightly rub the frame and fender well on the rear, not enough to hurt the tire or body work, but will rub the paint off. A rear bump stop spacer (1.5"?) and/or a small wheel spacer along with your lift if choice will solve the rub.
