My cruiser has never had a factory or dealer alarm. I’d like to have a system installed that would have remote start ability and lock/unlock and an alarm. Real basic.

My drivers door lock and ignition lock are quite worn and I’m finally going to install a full rekey set that i bought probably 10 years ago, so I want to keep the wear on the new parts to a minimum.

Is there a system that is good with the Toyota style lock module for unlocking just the driver door with one button push and all doors with two? Like opening with the key in the drivers door.

I figured I’d have it installed while I have the drivers door apart so some guy isn’t breaking the little garnish up top or anything like that. I’ll take all my kick panels or whatever he needs off so they don’t get destroyed.

Anyhow, what brand system should I look for?
Anyone have a Houston area recommendation for installer?

Thanks!!

Anyone?

I don't know if there is one that unlocks driver on one press and all on two like other factory toyota setups but I think it could be figured out and done with any alarm. I would never let someone professionally install anything in to my wiring harness personally. I find their install techniques to be horrible. I personally am running a viper basic system and it works well. However I am using the factory alarm harness as the interface so it is clean.ive done other alarm installs before and I generally spend a lot of extra time doing a good job on the wiring portion so it doesn't cause other issues down the road.

Get something DEI (Industry Standard) so anyone can work on it.
Do not shoe horn yourself into a Tough Spot.
I have a Viper.
