Lol, same here...

Heading to Nashville this weekend and looking for some recommendations on things to do. Me and the wife (minus kids) are catching Del McCoury at the Ryman on Thursday night and then departing Saturday morning. We're staying relatively close to downtown and looking for some Friday daytime and evening activities. I've done the Broadway thing and we'll probably end up down there just to see it again.

So, what are the can't miss things in Nashville? We're not too much into the Honky Tonk thang, but also would like some recommendations on bars/clubs for local music. I've done the Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar which was more up my alley than the more touristy spots.

Thanks

Sadly, I don't go downtown if I can help it. Hockey is over and the sounds are out of town this weekend so that knocks out the sports.

I will think on it and will ask Erin to do the same, but as bad as I hate to admit it, I don't know much to do down there and I've been here for over 10 years now...

Guess who has a new clean title to an '88 BJ73. :grinpimp:

:worms:

Hot Damn! Based on our conversation at GSMTR, that is a helluva big deal. Look forward to seeing some pictures and following progress.

Pics will be showing up eventually. I think there may be pics hanging around from when it was at my house in GA. I am sure it is not in the same shape but shouldn't be too bad.

I guess I have to start a STLCA 70 series thread. Larry and I can hang out in there.

The “America Pickers” have a store in the old Marathon car factory. The store is ok but the old factory is pretty cool. I also believe it has a couple of micro breweries. Can also checkout Centennial Park. There’s usually a lot going on there. If you like German food there is an outstanding German restaurant at Opray Mills mall. It’s located on the river side of the mall. Beings you are from GA you have to visit “Cooters” and check out The Dukes of Hazzard museum. It’s a must see for all Georgian’s.
Hope that helps @tgreco.

Happy 4th you guys. Hope you all stayed in the shade and had a good day.

Looking for someone relatively local that does tube work? I need 2 or 3 tubes bent up for a bed rack I want to build for the Ford to mount the RTT on.

Prefer Murfreesboro, Franklin, spring hill area.

Thanks

Find you a local muffler shop. Most of the time they will do it for very little and they have some killer skills.

We have a tube bender at my shop, have 1,1.5 and 2 inch dies.

What does the usage schedule look like over the next few weekends? And what are the odds of me making 3 identical hoops without too much waste?

I’ll be in the shop the next several weekends getting ready for Moab but can take time to help you. If a hoop does not come out correct I have some heavy wall tube that presses in to don for a splice. The bender dies do tubing not pipe

Is there anyone in Nashville yall would recommend to do a pre purchase inspection, I'm looking at a ford expedition for a family hauler.

What part of Nashville? I don't really know much about having one of those. I have a garage in Nolensville that you might could call, but I don't know if that is a service they offer.

Any of you guys do any ATV fiddling? I need to find a reputable source for a new CDI box for my granddads 1999 Yamaha Wolverine 4x4 YFM350. Found several on lone, but pricing varies wildly and I've been out of the atv world for years. I'm gonna call Sloan's in murf tomorrow and Cool Springs wrappers, but if any of you know any online or other sources, I'm all ears.

Thanks
