Steering gear box seal kits (1 Viewer)

Amayama came through for me. I just got the package when I got home from work a bit ago. I still plan on comparing it to the Gates kit soon.

I don’t know how many Amayama has left, all their website says is quantity is “>1”, which means they could have 2 or they could have 100. Or maybe they put that there and only have zero.

Is this one of the different seals you were talking about?

No. I did away with these seals, O ring, white teflon seal and metal spacer...

...And replaced them with this seal.

That lower seal ('83-87 FJ60), is a:

NOK AG8907E (OEM) Good luck finding it in USA

Toyota 90312-32002 (cheap).

223210 - Federal Mogul / Timken / National, etc....

The Gates one pictured above looks like it's for an early box (< '83) or FJ40 PS box.

Be careful with the white PTFE seals, they tear very easily.
