Thanks all for pointing me in the right direction for my new cruiser search, just started checking online sources today. Checked out cars.com and came upon a 1992 with 86000, seemed pretty low to me. Just ran a carfax check and this is what came up

INCONSISTENT ODOMETER READING

Seems the odometer was messed with this one, I dont think the current owner knows or why else would he post vin.

Got the unlimited on carfax will be using alot it seems heh.

Anyways if any of you guys can give me heads up on decent 1992-1994 cruiser would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Mark

You know the 92 is different than the 93 - 94, right? The 91-92 is the FJ80 with drum brakes in the rear, semi floater rear, no ABS, 3FE motor ~155hp (less powerful), No front/rear locking differentials, etc, although it should be considerably cheaper. The 93-97 are the FZJ 80, same body style but bigger 1FZE engine (~212 HP, ~260 ft-lbs), ABS, full floater rear, front/rear locking diff option, 4 wheel disc brakes, 16" wheels, tinted windows, etc. but a little more money. Most people look for a 91-92, or look for a 93-97, just want to make sure you know the difference.

Yep, know the difference between the years fire, Im looking for those years specfically because of some conversion plans I have, the less electronics the better. Basically looking for low miles rig from southern states.

Thanks for the help
Mark
