Stall when I stop (1 Viewer)

I installed a city racer carb on my 60. It drives fine and idles fine but when I come to a quick stop is stalls out unless I push the clutch in and give it some gas. Any ideas?

Turn up the idle speed
Give the engine a tune up
Check the compression.
A low compression engine is easy to stall.

Check for vacuum leaks

I third the turning up idle speed. When I installed my city racer the idle was barely 300. It took a bit to tune it up.
