I just drove in to Seattle today and have a loud screech comming from my ac unit?

I kick of the a/c turn it on, when the compressor starts about 3 minutes later? I hear this loud screech. The belts are on there with good play, but maybe not. This truck is 160k old...

Could someone tell me what the right play should be for the belts... also, is this a common issue?

Possible compressor. It coud be trying to sieze up.

good play in belts should be about 1/4-1/2 inch deflection per 12 inches of span
