Shouldn't the shop be "inspecting" the engine before install?
Regardless as is typically the case the customer ends up eating it, surely not helped in this scenario by sourcing the engine independently (probably trying to save money). Likely ends up paying thousands more than anticipated to get back on the road. Not to mention downtime and stress endured.
