^that bulb looks the same as the ceiling cargo light bulb. I would bet its the same but I cannot verify.

When you guys swap CV axles, do you usually change out the front diff seals at the same time? Or is that unnecessary?

I'd hate to have to pull the new CV after installed because of a leaky seal.

Also, I'm over 200,000 miles on original seals.

Does anyone happen to have a set of OME 2724 Rear Coil Springs they'd like to get rid of? Looking to buy.
Thanks

Also looking at buying BP-51s
Have a set of 2722 if that does you any good. Practically new.

It isn’t the same. See pic above. Left is the lower cargo light I’m trying to replace: shorter and skinnier. Right is the overhead dome lightbulb.

I would call SuperbrightLEDs.com. They are very helpful on the phone for finding things that are not in the usual application tables. I had the same problem with the cargo light in my ES350 trunk, and the bed cargo light in my '87 minitruck, they figured it out. Take some careful measurements before you call, use a caliper if you have one.

I've not had a need to R&R CVs on the 200, however on the 100 I would always replace the seals. Relatively cheap part. Not worth going back in and dealing with it later.

For the older 08-11 LX570, any way to improve on backup camera or are we stuck with what we have?

If resolution limited by our touchscreen or the camera?

Just wondering.

Good question. I suspect it’s the camera...or perhaps a limitation of the wire used to connect it. The screen itself shows its capability when you play DVDs on it...so it seems to have decent resolution. Curious now...

Picked up a 2015 LX570, is there a general life expectancy of the OEM batteries? In GA, so heat kills batteries in all vehicles quick, but LX is new experience.
Depends on conditions/use such as heat as you said, cold, vibration, discharge/charge cycles. A car that sees only mild condiions may see a battery last 6 years, but I've read on this forum that OEM 200 series batteries only last 2 or 3 years on average.

Is the dash battery meter a good indicator of battery life? Conversely, does anyone pay attention to the oil level indicator l? Mine is currently 1/4 and wondering if I should be worried.

That's oil pressure not oil level. 1/4 is normal when engine is warmer up. When first started in the morning it will be higher. Dash battery meter is normal around the middle. Indicates the alternator is charging the battery.

7 years on my OEM.

These are high dollar batteries, if you top them off with distilled water every year they will last 10+ years.

Going to grab some distilled water and do that today. Always been dealer serviced, I'll let you know if it was done at my 30K.

My OEM WENT 3 years

Thanks, I'll start keeping an eye @ 5 years for odd occurrences for replacement.

Of course, it wasn't looked at 30K dealer service. Needed to add what seemed like alot (1/2 cup) to all the openings in total. Cleaned top of battery and as I unscrewed openings blew the dust away and cleaned the openings before adding water. Easy, especially if it adds years to battery life, assuming not adding water subtracts.

I do have a SQOD though. What this threaded bolt coming up below and to the left of the battery? No nut on there, so hopefully whatever it's holding is threaded?
