I have two quick concerns, although am interested in 2, but before I commit...
Is there any metal to metal wiggle that will be marring up the headposts?
Someone else mentioned rattle? (which might be solved with a rubber grommet), which also might answer the previous question too.
Thank you.
Looks like this is a hit!
I don't get it though. What problem does this solve? If the back pack pictured was 6 inches lower and sitting on the floor whats the difference? What am I missing?
Is it to late??? If not put me down for 1
Thanks!!
Spoke with Doc over at Springtailsolutions.com (MUD vendor) about a design for a backpack hook setup for the 80, he is currently making them for the FJ crowd, he is interested in meeting my request and the request of several other 80 owners who have expressed similiar interest for this product. Depending on the interest, need at least 20 orders, he will start the production for the 80 series. Below is an example of the backpack hook.

Back Pack Hooks
Post here to help me keep track and PM Doc to express your interest. Each unit sales for $19.95ea. + shipping.
Thanks,

In order to do this right, I would have to make different mounts for the front and back seats. There is a significant difference in the layout of the front and rear seats as far as distance to the seat back from the head rest posts.
Right now the boss says I can do one or the other...which would you prefer. I am guessing that rear seat hooks would be more desirable.
If they sell, I would be more inclined to convince the boss to make the other style as well.
Doc
I thought you were the boss!
My preference would be mounts for the front seats; generally I won't be using the rears when I need these. Rear mounts could have their purpose, but those seats are shorter and I'd be less likely to use them to hang a pack or a coat.
Thanks!
There is a reason why everything inside the cabin is soft - it absorbs impact. I know seat belts are meant to secure the kids/people in the back seat but I still wouldn't have anything that hard / sharp head level - just my opinion. They could have design something that does exactly the same thing without looking like it will crack your skull open.
