Im sure you guys have found this already, but for those who have not:
The CHNS posts the parts of the beach that are open to 4x4s at this site, uses Google Earth.

Who from the Charlotte area is going on Wednesday?
As far as I know the only three going from Charlotte are you, Brett and I.

Al, I'm still working on setting up Brett a tent for when you guys arrive early AM.
If you need an extra tent, let me know. I have one that can fit 2 queen air matresses in it side by side. I think even a yeti coiled fit in it...
Nah it's not for me. Andrea and I are just going to sleep in the cruiser the first night then set up our tent the next morning.
this is for Brett and because we are rolling in at 3am and he has him, Cindre and Tori with him he'll need a tent already set up and waiting if possible.
Cool beans. I can't be there in time but I could get this to others who will be, as a back up. Its no back pack tent (size) but sets up super easy. I can do it solo but its a pain, with another, its a 5 min job, maybe 10 with the rain fly. Its been nicknamed "the Rotunda".

The Wednesday departure point is 7:00am at the Bojangles in Knightdale on 64. The address is 7525 U.S. Hwy 64E, Knightdale. I'm sure there are some hotels right around there, but I'm not familiar with Knightdale. I'd offer to put y'all up, but I already have a guest coming in from out of town for the ride.
No problem we may or may not meet up on wednesday morn, depends on weather traffic etc. Thanks anyway.
