Second of these LWB Santanas I’ve seen here in two days—one was owned by a Swiss guy here at our campsite and we geeked out on LRs (I’m a recovering Rover owner)—apparently these Santana Defenders used a dog’s breakfast of parts—front brakes from one car, rear from another, headlights from Lara, etc….leaf springs too! Old school.

Us and some Prados outside the bar where we’re about to see Morocco play Portugal . The Prados are THE platform for dune tourism here—I’ve seen one or two 100s, a sprinkling of Mitsubishis, and even a heep (liberty?) or two, but about 900 Prados.
The drivers not absorbed in driving all stare at us like we are aliens—possibly the first Vermont tags ever here?
And not many internationals self driving 4x4s in the dunes—more motos.
