Hi guys,
I am new to split wheels and have a few questions. I just picked up a set of nice split wheels and rings. They measure 15.5".
1) Does that mean they are technically called 16's or 15's because I want to order the right tire size?
2) I am also looking for suggestions on nice looking radial tires. Rough size will be 255/85/???.
3) Where would you recommend I go to buy the tires, tubes with offset stems, and tube flaps? The rep I spoke with at Tirerack said they don't sell any tube style tires at all. Really?

Thanks guys.
Jarrett

there are 15" and 16" oem split rims

the 16" rim will measure 15.5" with the ring removed...is that what your measuring?

I am running 255/85r16 cooper discover st's

i used to run toyo m-55's in the same size and loved those...they measured 33"x10.3"

i also ran bfg mts in the same size

you need to goto a gcr center or any other truck supply center link:GCR Tire Centers

you need 750x16 tubes with an offset tr150 stem...thats the flexable one ...and flaps

I have lots of tubes and liners for split rims if you need them. These are OEM Toyota and are made by Bridgestone. These have the proper offset stems and are what I run on my 45 with split rims.

$10 each for the tube/liner combo + shipping from 84106. PM me if you are interested.
